An Effect Appraisal of Improving Health Services Utilization in Rural Mutual Health Care Scheme

Abstract:Based on the baseline survey in 2002 and following up data in 2006 and partly supervised organization data in Rural Mutual Health Care(RMHC),this article compared the changes of health services demand and utilization for the residents,after implementing RMHC,and analyzed the situations that RMHS improved the equity of health services utilization.The result shows the outpatient and impatient utilizations were increased for the pilot residents in Zhen'an,Shaanxi;the equity of health services was increased.
