Abstract:To improve realization the CT characteristics in patients with of hepatic lymphoma. Materials and Methods:We reviewed seven patients in whom a diagnosis of lymphoma was finally made histologically during a 33-month period (Dec 2001 through Aug 2004) . In all patients, four of them were diagnosed Hodgkin’s disease(HD) and three of them were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma(NHL). Liver lesions were observed at the onset of the disease or during the follow-up period. Because Some liver lesions disappeared in some cases and others reduced after treatment, thus, we concluded liver was infiltrated by lymphoma. Liver lesions were found in all patients by ultrasound and then underwent which were further verified by unenhanced and contrast-enhanced spiral CT scan. Results:In all seven cases, only one presented single liver lesion (14%),the other 6 cases presented multiple lesions (86%). CT showed hypoattenuating lesions with attenuated intensity in all cases. After administrating contrast-medium, there was no evident enhancement of lesion intensity in five cases and with rim enhancement was seen in two cases. Conclusion:Combining main CT characteristics and combining clinical information manifestations, secondary liver lymphoma can be identified correctly.
