Analysis of the Innovation and Result of Chinese Universities and Subjects Evaluation in 2012

Abstract:Chinese university evaluation is discussed from the aspects of the innovation (ideas, methods, technology), results and analysis, interpretation of the trend. This paper focuses on the analysis of the innovation of ideas, method and technology about university evaluation and interpretation of the trend from the data of 2012's evaluation. Three indexes university web influence index which represents the value of the university's brand, performance index influence network, comprehensive reflection of the school benefit and efficiency, and innovation index, reflecting university innovation ability and level, are introduced for the first time. The corresponding information system is also developed so that all the evaluation activity can be performed automatically and intelligently. From the result of chinese universities and subjects evaluation in 2012, it is concluded that the Chinese university brand value (including the network brand, special major setting and the discipline construction, etc), science and technology innovation level, performance level has a great influence on university comprehensive competitiveness.
