Abstract:We present a remote preparation of the N-particle GHZ state protocol in which only the effects of quantum statistics of indistinguishable particles are used. The N-particle GHZ state can be successfully prepared in the limit of N→∞.

Abstract:With one pair of entangled particles as the quantum channel, we present an explicit generalized protocol for preparing remotely a two-level N-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state and generalize it to the d-level case. We show that by properly choosing the measurement basis it is possible to achieve unity fidelity remote preparation of the state. This protocol has the advantage of transmitting much fewer particles for remote preparation of the d-level N-particle GHZ state.

Abstract:In a process of remote state preparation, the universality of quantum channel is an essential ingredient. That is, one quantum channel should be feasible to remotely prepare any given qubit state. This problem appears in a process where one uses non-maximally entangled state as the passage. We present a scheme in which any given qubit | = cos θ|0+sin θei|1 could be remotely prepared by using minimum classical bits and the previously shared non-maximally entangled state with a high fidelity, under the condition that the receiver holds the knowledge of θ. This condition is helpful to reduce the necessary amount of quantum channels, which is proven to be a low quantity to realize the universality. We also give several methods to investigate the trade-off between this amount and the achievable fidelity of the protocol.

Abstract:We propose a new linear optical protocol for remote state preparation (RSP) between two parties under control of a number of controllers in terms of optical elements. The proposed setup involves simple linear optical elements, a N-photon polarization entangled state, and photon de tectors, witch have been widely used in experiment. The realization of this protocol is appealing due to the fact that quantum state of light is robust against the decoherence and photons are ideal carriers for transmitting quantum information over long distances.

Abstract:We propose schemes to prepare n-atom Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state via two-sided cavities interacting with single-photon pulses, and achieve quantum state transfer (QST) from one atom to another atom. Entanglement particle pair and the control of coupling between qubits are of no need in the QST process. Some practical quantum noises only decrease the success probabilities of the schemes but have no influence on the fidelity of prepared state. In addition, the success probabilities of our schemes are close to unity in the ideal case.

Abstract:Known quantum pure states of a qudit can be remotely prepared onto a group of particles of qubits exactly or probabilistically with the aid of two-level Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen states. We present a protocol for such kind of remote state preparation. We are mainly focused on the remote preparation of the ensembles of equatorial states and those of states in real Hilbert space. In particular, a kind of states of qudits in real Hilbert space have been shown to be remotely prepared in faith without the limitation of the input space dimension.

Abstract:We propose a deterministic remote state preparation (RSP) scheme for preparing an arbitrary (including pure and mixed) qubit, where a partially entangled state and finite classical communication are used. To our knowledge, our scheme is the first RSP scheme that fits into this category. One other RSP scheme proposed by Berry shares close features, but can only be used to prepare an arbitrary pure qubit. Even so, our scheme saves classical communication by approximate 1 bit per prepared qubit under equal conditions. When using a maximally entangled state, the classical communication for our scheme is 2 bits, which agrees with Lo's conjecture on the resource cost. Furthermore Alice can switch between our RSP scheme and a standard teleportation scheme without letting Bob know, which makes the quantum channel multipurpose.

Abstract:How to use shared entanglement and forward classical communication to remotely prepare an arbitrary (mixed or pure) state has been fascinating quantum information scientists. Berry has given a constructive scheme for remotely preparing a general pure state, using a pure entangled state and finite classical communication. To optimize the classical communication cost, Berry employed a coding of the high-dimensional target state. Though working in the high-dimensional cases, the coding method is inapplicable for low-dimensional systems, such as a pure qubit. Since qubit plays a central role in quantum information theory, here we propose an optimization procedure which can be used to minimize the classical communication cost in preparing a general pure qubit. Interestingly, our optimization procedure is linked to the uniform arrangement of N points on the Bloch sphere, which provides a geometric description.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a scheme for the remote state preparation of a chosen two-particle entangled state by a three-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state, and propose a generalization to a chosen multiparticle entangled state. By this scheme, only one classical bit and one single-particle projective measurement are enough for the remote state preparation of some special chosen multiparticle entangled states.

Abstract:We present a practical and general scheme of remote preparation for pure and mixed states, which is proposed with an auxiliary qubit and controlled-NOT gate. We discuss the remote state preparation (RSP) in two important types of decoherent channel (depolarizing and dephasing). We realize RSP in the dephasing channel in our experiment by using spontaneous parametric down-conversion, linear optical elements, and single photon detector. Our experimental results match the theoretical prediction well.

Abstract:By exploiting the fermionic qubit parity measurement, we present a scheme to realize quantum non-demolition (QND) measurement of Bell states and generate n-party GHZ state in quantum dot. Compared with the original protocol, the required electron transfer before and after parity measurement can be nonadiabatic, which may speed up the operation speed and make the omitting of spin-orbit interaction more reasonable. This may help us to construct CNOT gate without highly precise control of coupling as the way of D. Gottesman and I. L. Chuang.

Abstract:Recently Zhu (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 53 , 4095, 2014 ) had shown that using GHZ-like states as quantum channel, it is possible to teleport an arbitrary unknown two-qubit state. We investigate this channel for the teleportation of an arbitrary N -qubit state. The strict proof through mathematical induction is presented and the rule for the receiver to reconstruct the desired state is explicitly derived in the most general case. We also discuss that if a system of quantum secret sharing of classical message is established, our protocol can be transformed to a N -qubit perfect controlled teleportation scheme from the controller’s point of view.

Abstract:It is well known that transmitting quantum states remotely is one of central tasks in quantum information processing. Until now, there are some important works in remote state preparation, the efficient method to transmit quantum states remotely. However, most of them are focused on remote state preparation via one degree of freedom (DOF) of quantum systems. In this article, we investigate the possibility of performing parallel quantum remote state preparation based on two DOFs of photons. We proposed a protocol for parallel remote preparation of arbitrary single-qubit states via hyperentangled photons which are entangled in both spatial-mode DOF and polarization DOF simultaneously. The sender performs unitary operations on his hyperentangled photon according to his knowledge of prepared states; the receiver can reconstruct the original states on his hyperentangled photon if he cooperates with the sender. The scheme has the advantage of having less quantum entanglement cost and classical communication. Moreover, we also discuss the scheme for recursive remote preparation of arbitrary single-qubit states via partially hyperentangled Bell states.

Abstract:We have experimentally implemented remote state preparation (RSP) of a qubit from a hydrogen to a carbon nucleus in molecules of carbon-13 labeled chloroform $^{13}$CHCl$_{3}$ over interatomic distances using liquid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique. Full RSP of a special ensemble of qubits, i.e., a qubit chosen from equatorial and polar great circles on a Bloch sphere with Pati's scheme, was achieved with one cbit communication. Such a RSP scheme can be generalized to prepare a large number of qubit states and may be used in other quantum information processing and quantum computing.

Abstract:Summary By employing two tripartite GHZ states as the entanglement channel, we realized the deterministic JRSP protocol of six unique initial two-qubit states on the Origin Wuyuan 6-qubit chip, with the measured average fidelities exceeding 0.4. Moreover, we employ the Origin NQVM to simulate the JRSP protocol in the presence of four noise environments. To enhance fidelity, we proposed substituting the two Hadamard gates in the GHZ state preparation circuit with parameterized unitary operations. Simulated results on NQVM indicate that this approach can be implemented in the actual JRSP experiment. Our work proves the experimental feasibility of JRSP of an arbitrary two-qubit state and could pave the way for developing and verifying more complex quantum communication tasks.

Abstract:Remote state preparation and remote operation are entanglement assisted protocols in quantum information process, here we present a practical and general scheme of remote preparation for pure and mixed state, in which an auxiliary qubit and controlled-NOT gate are used. We give an experimental scheme of the quantum remote operation on single photons, where the unitary operation is restricted to the sets U-com or U-anti. We discuss the remote state preparation (RSP) in two important types of decoherent channel (depolarizing and dephaseing). In our experiment, we realize RSP in the dephaseing channel by using spontaneous parametric down conversion (SPDC), linear optical elements and single photon detector.

Abstract:In this work, using two-particle high-dimensional orthogonal projective measurement and some appropriate unitary operations we realize the joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-particle high-dimensional equatorial state. The total success probability is found to only depend on the coefficients of the entangled states shared between the two preparers and the receiver, and the classical communication cost is also calculated. The three-party high-dimensional case is extended to multi-party high-dimensional as well.

Abstract:We propose a linear optical protocol to generate Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state of N distant photons with the certain success probability. The proposed setup involves simple linear optical elements, N pairs of the two-photon polarization entangled states, and the conventional photon detectors that only distinguish the vacuum and nonvacuum Fock number states. This makes the protocol more realizable in experiments.

Abstract:Remote quantum state preparation is of great significance in quantum communication networks and long distance quantum information transmission. In this paper, a multi-hop remote single-qubit state preparation scheme is proposed for quantum networks. In each hop, Bell states are used as quantum channels and a quantum state is transmitted to a destination node through intermediate nodes. By analyzing one-hop and two-hop remote state preparation, we extend the scheme to n-hop remote state preparation, where logical algebra expressions are introduced to present final results. Our scheme achieves the total success probability of “1” and is independent of the types of Bell states and the number of intermediate nodes.

Abstract:We present a protocol for probabilistic remote preparation of the two-atom maximally entangled state using a four-atom GHZ entangled state as the quantum channel. The two-atom maximally entangled state can be successfully prepared between two distant parties with a success probability of 100%. The successful total probability and classical communication cost are calculated.

Abstract:In this paper we discuss a quantum multi-tasking protocol for preparation of known one-qubit and two-qubit states respectively in two different locations. The ideal remote state preparation protocol is discussed in the first place in which a five-qubit entangled state is utilized. The design for the preparation of such entanglement is also presented and run on IBM quantum composer platform. The effects of three types of noises on the protocol are discussed and in all these cases the reduced fidelities of the process are calculated. The variations of these fidelities with respect to different parameters are analysed.
