Abstract:This paper introduces the application of a calling and queuing system for blood sample collection in a large hospital in China. Besides the basic function, it has following functions. (a) A real name system: get the number according to the laboratory application form to prevent the phenomena of buying a number and an empty number. (b) Two times waiting: the patient should wait at the main hall, then at the blood sampling window so as to improve the work efficiency. (c) The flowchart for an outpatient blood testing is as following: getting the number --> waiting --> blood sampling --> getting the test information report. This system is capable of not only optimizing the work flow, but also improving the clinical environment. It shortens the patient's waiting time and raises the laboratory quality as well.

Abstract:Medical data is always complex and specific,it hence is critical to choose an appropriate database platform for the performance of Hospital Information System.This paper explores the status of Hospital Information System in China, and proposes a modified Inpatient Management System based on Post-Relational Database Cach.We analyze the system requirements and choose the Object-Oriented method to design database platform.Furthermore,we propose a direct mouse-drag interface method to resolve the issue of inpatient transfer operation.As a result of application of the Post-Relational Database Cach,the Inpatient Management System is proved to be more efficient.
The establishment and practice of two-level triage system in outpatient visit management

Abstract:Objective: To explore the applicability and feasibility of two-level triage system in our tertiary hospital outpatient visit management. Methods: The authors established two-level triage system based on the JCI outpatient safety management goal and homogeneity service, they defined the job description of clinic nurses, established outpatient safety management system, improved clinic environment, using outpatient triage software to support the two-level triage management. Results: The average waiting time decreased from 56.33 min to 40.95 min (P<0.001), the overall satisfaction for outpatient increased from 91.38% to 94.63% (P<0.001) after three-year practice. No one suffered sudden accident death in clinic. The rate of one clinic for one patient was 96.8%. Conclusion: The two-level triage system under JCI standard was safe and efifcient for improving clinic service and outpatient satisfaction. It is an important means to increase outpatient service quality.

Abstract:Objective To establish an emergency care mode with fixed position and station for outpatient nurses and to evaluate the effectiveness of this mode.Methods Current problems in emergency care were analyzed,a system-improving team was formed,and the emergency care mode with fixed position and station for outpatient nurses was established.Emergency care start-up time,successful emergency rescue rate and rate of disputes and complaints caused by emergency issues were compared before and after application of the mode.Results After application,emergency care start-up time was reduced from (5.45-±1.21)min to (2.71±0.97)min;successful emergency rescue rate was increased from 82.5％ to 96.55％;rate of disputes and complaints caused by emergency issues was decreased from 12.5％ to 1.72％.All differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The emergency care mode with fixed position and station for outpatient nurses can shorten emergency care start-up time,increase successful emergency rescue rate,reduce rate of disputes and complaints caused by emergency issues,and further improve general emergency system of the hospital.

Abstract:Objective Basing on functional requirements of military hospital apartment management and distribution system analyzing,to design an apartment management and distribution system for more accurate and efficient information management of hospital logistics,in order to reduce traditionally experience-based manual management and improve the unbalance between hardware and software development during the informationization process.Methods The system was designed using SQL database as backend system and PowerBuilder data application system as the front-end development tool.Results Using the system,the information of camp location,buildings,apartments and living situation could be tracked,queried,modified and deleted in real-time by the managers.Conclusions By using of the system,the management and allocation of apartments in the military hospital camp are improved effectively,which upgrad the management of hospital camp property.The system is easy to operate and should be used widely.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2011,32(3):38-40,42]

Abstract:Objective To establish two grade triage safety management mode in outpatient department,and to evaluate its effects of application for outpatient nursing quality management.Methods Two grade triage safety management mode was established:improving management system for two grade triage,establishing nursing position for two grade triage,improving patient triage management software and triage management scheme.The convenience sampling method was adopted to extract the two grade triage safety management model.Satisfaction of outpatients,nursing risk warning evaluation and nursing safety management were evaluated before and after the implementation of two grade triage safety management mode.Results After the implementation of two grade triage safety management mode in outpatient department,the overall satisfaction of outpatients was improved from (4.00±0.89) points to (4.67±0.37) points (P＜0.05).The overall compliance rate of nursing risk warning evaluation index showed significant increases (P＜0.05),and the qualification rate of rescue items was increased from 84.55％ to 95.91％ after the implementation.For nursing safety management program,the utilization rate of prior passages was increased from 5.22％ to 20.45％.The usage rate of self-service blood pressure measurement was increased from 1.94％ to 54.33％.The identification rate of high-risk fall patients was increased from 13.82％ to 43.36％.All differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of two grade triage safety management mode is helpful to improve satisfaction of outpatients,and promote outpatient safety quality management.

Abstract:To introduces the development and implementation of a backup hospital information system in the outpatient clinic for the accident shutdown of the daily information system. This backup hospital information system works based on the terminals in the same local area, and it runs independently under a local network. In case of interruption of information system in the outpatient clinic and emergency department, the backup information system generates a QR code on paper as an alternative data transmission media. This system initially developed a new offline transmission method to ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical data during information system shutdown. The system can support the medical services to be convenient, stable, and continuous in hospital information system failure.

Abstract:Objective: Find out the outline of outpatient department in army, discuss the drug-use in out-patient department, evaluation method of clinic quality to assist the management. Methods: With the aid of statistic method and computer, realize the information analysis system of out-patient department, generalize the dug-use, charge consumption and medical consumption of affiliated units in time. Results: By analyzing the status of seeking medical advices in one year, the author discovers that the supporting level of each unit is high. High consumption drugs rather concentrated, the top 10 drugs account for 30%. Conclusion: Normal non-curative drug can be split-flown into affiliated units to lower the pressure of outpatient department in hospital. Lack of clinic diagnosis information leads to the difficulty in assessing quality and effect of clinic medical treatment.

Abstract:This paper is combined with the intelligent nursing information system to build the emergency nursing platform architecture, from the system emergency procedures, system functionality, network environment deployment, and database design aspects of the discussion. Based on hospital information security, the nursing monitoring system of the intelligent nursing information system is constructed to realize network communication, which is clear and intuitive. The intelligent information system is applied to safety control, medical order information, condition information, and information inquiry, which can save working time and complete the rapid transmission and accurate execution of medical order, making the network communication of medical care more quick and convenient and maximizing the overall efficiency. Based on the disordered phenomenon of registration triage, the Relief algorithm is used to classify the aetiology and triage, and the combination of medical advice, information query, and IT technology is optimized, so as to eliminate the phenomenon of round diagnosis, insert number, and improve the medical environment of waiting for diagnosis, taking medicine, examination, and testing. Finally, through the testing of system information security, information traceability, and rapid information query, the problems in nursing management have been basically solved.
