Abstract:Considering the potential pitfalls concerning interactivity and consistency of model-driven software development(MDSD),a new method of model transformation classification named MTCM is provided.The granularity classification is carried out according to different modeled systems,models,and modeling languages.With this method,the QVT standard (Query/View/Transformation) proposed by object management group (OMG) is studied,and an example of model transformation from UML to RDBMS is evaluated.Analysis shows that this MTCM method is an important prerequisite for improving the veracity and efficiency of model transformation.
