Abstract:Objective To describe the complications of hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel injection for soft tissue filling,it′s incidence rate in hospital of different levels and offer evidence to the security evaluation and supervision. Method Establish database of reviewed literatures after exclusion and classification, and analyze the complications with hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel injection for soft tissue filling.Result The injection for soft tissue filling operated on 14047 persons in total and 909 of them developed complications,the crude incidence rate is 6.47%, the incidence rate of the filling part with breast is 7.75% and with face is 1.08%.In breast filling, complications of sclerosis, shift, inflammation and haematoma is primary,while asymmetry is primary in face filling; The incidence rate of the filling part with breast in the non-third level hospitals is higher than in the third level hospitals.Conclusion It is suggested that careful consideration should be paid for the hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel injection for soft tissue filling on healthy people untill it′s long term effects and security have been evaluated adequately.
