Abstract:All together: A concise strategy for the first diastereoselective total synthesis of (±)-schindilactone A is reported. The synthesis features a ring-closing metathesis, a thiourea/cobalt-catalyzed Pauson–Khand reaction, and a thiourea/palladium-catalyzed carbonylative annulation reaction.
