Research the Prevalence of 568 pupils’Injuries and the Status of Their Parents/guardiens’kap in the Primary schools,Pudong New Area

Abstract:Objective:The study is conducted to investigate the perceptions of pupil’s parents’knowledge about the children’s injury in Pudong New Area, and to provide the scientific basis for developing the prevention and decreasing the rate of injury and mortality. Methods: Selecting 568 pupil’s parents randomly from two primary schools in the central section of Pudong New Area as investigative objects, and making unified questionnaires, by which is mainly to understand the condition of the parents’knowledge, attitude and behavior of the children’s injury. Results: The parents’cognition degree is high to the elementary knowledge of injury, traffic injury and sport injury, but that is low to the wound from household activities and leisure activities etc. For instance, the correctly responding rate of putting matches, lighters and thermos bottles at the place where the children can’t reach is 66.37%. The correctly responding rate of playing with plastic bullet gun which may cause an injury is 63.03%. Parents have the cognition astray of the common type of injury.Conclusion:Parents’behavior has an imperceptible influence on children. Family is the first class for children. It is very important for parents to take injury knowledge training and security education.
