Abstract:A three-dimensional polyoxovanadate formulated as HV(3)Og.H2O has been synthesized by hydrothermal method. Its structure was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal belong to monoclinic system with a space group P2(1)/m, a= 4.9980 (10) angstrom, b=8.4188 (17) angstrom, c = 7.8614 (16) angstrom, alpha = 90.00, beta =96.40 (3)degrees, gamma =90.00, V= 328.72(11) angstrom(3), Z =2, F_000 = 282, R-1= 0.0230, wR(2)= 0.0678.
