Analysis on Immunization of Live Attenuated Varicella Vaccine in A School Student in Minhang, Shanghai

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To find out the immunization of varicella attenuated live vaccine(VarV)in Minhang District,Shanghai.METHODS Quantitative enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to detect VZV-IgG antibodies in sera of a school student which selected by random sampling,and SPSS 13.0 software was used for data analysis.In order to improve the reliability of the history of VarV,by checking each student's vaccination card,and identification of each student's immunization record book,detailed check in vaccination date,batch number,vaccination units.RESULTS VZV-IgG total positive rate was 59.24%,and the prevalence of VZV-IgG was different in different groups.VZV-IgG positive rate of students which vaccinated was 59.38% while only 38.71% of students unvaccinated.The quantitative distribution of VZV-IgG in with or without a history of vaccination VarV was significant differences.In future,we still need to to expand the sample size,study on vaccination effect and antibody persistence of different varieties VarV in long-term with expanded sample size.CONCLUSIONS It is necessary to add varicella vaccine into planned vaccine immunization list in order to prevent and control varicella outbreak.To increase the vaccination rate of preschool and school pupils and to recommend two-time immunization process in the meantime.
