Abstract:A lot of servo motors are used as actuators for many kinds of mechanical system. Control of servo motor systems including inertial loads is very important because it affect performance of mechanical systems. In this paper, the transient response characteristics of the low electric power optimal control for the DC servomotor system, which already have been proposed by a author, is analyzed in detail. Specifically, behaviors in the settling time, the rise time, the delay time for a design parameter of electric power adjustments are made clear. From these results, by adjusting the introduced design parameter, the smooth transient response wave form changing slowly is achieved, and it is possible to achieve the low electric power performance.
