Abstract:Eight compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of Glochidion hirsutum by silica gel and Sephadex-LH20 column chromatography,and identified as bergenin(1),isovitexin(2),isovitexin 7-O-xyloside(3),decoumaroylibotanolide(4),n-butyl-α-D-fructofuranoside(5),n-butyl-β-D-fructofuranoside(6),4-O-ethylgallic acid(7) and 3-O-methylgallic acid(8).All the compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
