Abstract:This article constructs a multiobjective super conflict grey target negotiation consensus approach to possibly solve problems of multiobjective group consensus. This approach considers relationships and behaviors of decision-makers (DMs), and the influence and constraint of the objectives by maximizing the satisfaction of DMs and the moderator and by minimizing the coordination cost. It first defines DMs’ initial bull’s-eye and consensus bull’s-eye, develops a multiobjective super conflict grey target negotiation consensus system, and constructs a multiobjective super conflict grey target negotiation consensus approach. Second, by making use of the theory and methods of grey target decision-making, grey relational analysis, super conflict, and group consensus, this article establishes a multiobjective super conflict grey target negotiation consensus approach for two situations: with or without any objective constraint. Third, by considering limited compromises and tolerance behaviors where DMs have compromise limits and cost-free thresholds toward the consensus bull’s-eye, we further optimize the consensus approach by employing parabolic utility functions in compromise intervals to reflect DMs’ risk-appetite attitude and then discussing how to reasonably allocate the consensus budgets based on tolerance intervals. In the end, we use the challenge of the transboundary pollution of the Taihu Lake Basin to confirm the validity and rationality of our proposed model.
