Abstract:In embedded system,especially with low system resources,good driver structural design can effectively reduce memory and CPU occupation,hence improve the system’s performance.V4L2 is a new framework for video device driver development under Linux,and a in-depth study on the running mechanism of V4L2 is given.By making full use of its properties,a V4L2 driver develop method is presented for video device based on reducing system resource consumption and promoting driver’s behavior,and its validity is proven by experiment.

Abstract:Linux is now widely used in embedded systems.The procedure of developing linux video capture is introduced,based on the standard of V4L2——Video for Linux 2.The platform chosen is s3c2440 developing board,with the camera chip ov9652.As s3c2440 doesn't support sccb interface,the implementation of simulating SCCB protocol with GPIO is also described.It worked well at last,for video previewing and codecing.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the currently popular embedded operating system WinCE.NET,that is not fully supporting USB floppy driver,an implementing strategy for USB floppy based on WinCE.NET is put forward.By adopting stream interface driver model,the USB floppy driving program is developed;The control of USB floppy is implemented with UFI technology.The method and whole procedures for formatting USB floppy are given;the program has been applied successfully in ARM9-based multi-functional computerized embroidery machine.The program is simple and easy to use;it is good reference for developing driving program for similar USB devices.

Abstract:This thesis is based on the SigmaStar SSD268G core board, the SONY IMX585 image sensor chip and Linux system to design a high performance and portable UVC high resolution microscope camera. The camera can simultaneously output real-time YUV format data based on USB3.0 interface while realizing real-time image output through HDMI interface and it can also synchronously output high-quality encoded compressed data in H.265 format. The camera can meet the user's requirements for real-time uncompressed data and high frame rate respectively. In order to improve the confidentiality and convenience of the camera control, this paper designs a UVC private protocol to achieve the control of ISP adjustment. The camera designed in this paper can be widely used in industrial detection, biomedical, education and other fields.

Abstract:To achieve the goals that video capture chip TW2835can be controlled based on embedded Linux system,the basic functions and workflow of TW2835are described.Using Freescale controller i.MX53as hardware platform and Linux 2.6.35as software platform and analyzing V4L2driver model and I2Cdriver system,TW2835driver design method based on Linux is proposed according to modular idea.The test results show that the driver can support 4-channel video capture and output video image quality is clear and stable.TW2835can be extended to multi-channel video capture system and it would be broadly applied in embedded digital surveillance equipment.

Abstract:Embedded digital video system is widely used in the field of electronic consumer products such as digital still camera, digital video camera and photo mobile phone, while products now based on CMOS sensor are almost low resolution, non real-time and ASIC such as web camera, low-end digital still camera and photo mobile phone. This article introduces the design and implementation of a real-time digital video system which can use more than 2 Mega Pixels CMOS Sensor and based on ARM-Core embedded CPU. This design can be used in middle-end or high-end digital still camera, digital video camera and smart phone, it also can substituted products which now use CCD sensors, and it has merits of high quality picture, low power consumption, low price and high software reusability and simple circuit design, etc.

Abstract:A USB3.0 video transmission system with UVC protocol supported is designed. CMOS image sensor is used as photoelectric device. As a USB3.0 controller chip, CYUSB3014 acquires and processes data from CMOS image sensor, then converts the data to video that conforms to the UVC protocol. At last the video data display on computer real-time. The system implements video transmission with UVC protocol supported in high speed and resolution in industrial video. The design with clear structure could be not only used as a handheld device, but also a debug equipment of several types of image sensor.

Abstract:To enhance flexibility of embed system,USB floppy driver is developed under WinCE.NET,based on the structure of stream interface driver,the characteristics of load mechanism of stream interface driver,UFI technology is used to control USB floppy,USB floppy format method and detailed process are presented finally.The driver has been successfully applied in the regional water monitoring and measuring instrument based on ARM9,and it extended the functionality of the instrument,a good reference value is provided for similar device.

Abstract:In video digital decoding system the digital video stream should be delivered to PC for software-decoding.This disquisition of- fers a transmission scheme of the digital video stream which is from the video sampling system based on FPGA.The article implements the USB transmission of the digital video with the IP cores supplied by Xilinx FPGA,embedded PowerPC 405 hardcore and the USB 2.0 control- ler CY7C67300.The paper introduces the USB firmware development and customizes the USB interface's function according to the given ap- plication.Also the article establishes a data way between PowerPC 405 and CY7C67300 which will transmit the digital video stream to the USB controller,then to PC,finally realizes the USB transmission of Digital Video Stream.

Abstract:Based on current development of video monitoring system,a network real-time video monitoring system based on embedded system was proposed.S3C2410 embedded platform is used as service kernel,the external part is included by IME6400 and its accessorial circuit,and embedded Linux system is running on the embedded platform.Linux device driver adopts Zero-Copy Technology which assure that at one time there is only a piece of Video Steam in the Physical Memory with no copy.This technique not only improves the efficiency of the usage of memory,but also saves the CPU resource of copying the video stream.RTP is adopted for real-time video transport,and the system supports embedded web technology and ActiveX,therefore,the user only need IE browser to monitor the system.This embedded video monitoring system is easy to establish.It is simple,efficient,reliable and stable,therefore,good market potentials are expected.

Abstract:In this paper, the design approach of IP-based Net Camera (IPCAM) powered by Linux OS and a Realtime Mo- tion-JPG Encoder is described. The detail implementation of IPCAM is also been addressed from aspects of hardware frame- work, software design and client. The design methodology of lPCAM's hardware abstract layer makes it easy to migrate to other hardware platform. Compared with analog video camera, IPCAM facilitates Ethernet for video transmission, which a- voids signal fades and provides high efficient vet economical remote surveillance solution.
