Abstract:In this paper we shall establish some results on weak convergence for vector-valued continuous random processes, among which are vector-valued sub-Gaussian processes, vector-valued random processes satisfying Lipschitz conditions, and random Fourier series with vector-valued coefficients. The results obtained can be considered as corresponding extensions of those in the real setting. Our basic ideas stem from Fernique's recent works.

Abstract:By the method of symmetrization,the authors study that the equivalence between the convergence in L2 and almost sure convergence of random Dirichlet series under some conditions.After analyzing the results,obtain that the convergence of random Dirichlet series is transformed into the convergence of some Dirichlet series.Valiron and Knopp-Bohr formulae in new forms and some interesting results are obtained.

Abstract:Abstrcat The growth of entire funtion represented by the B-valued random Dirichlet series converging on the whole plane is systematically studied.Under certain conditions, the growth(lower)order of B-valued random Dirichlet series on the converging plane is almost equal to the growth(lower) order of some Dirichlet series everywhere, and its relations with the exponents and the coefficients of this series are obtained.

Abstract:We consider random Dirichlet series , with complex numbers, , increasing to , and otherwise arbitrary; and with a Rademacher sequence of random variables. We study their almost sure convergence on the critical line of convergence When (periodic case), a well-known sufficient condition on the coefficients a n ensuring almost sure uniform convergence on (equivalently uniform convergence on ) has been given by Salem and Zygmund, who made strong use of Bernstein's inequality. When is arbitrary (non-periodic case), one must distinguish between uniform convergence on compact subsets of (local convergence) and uniform convergence on . We extend Salem–Zygmund's theorem to general random Dirichlet series in this non-periodic case. Our main tools are a simple "local" Bernstein's inequality, and P. Lévy's symmetry principle.

Abstract:The author discusses necessary and sufficient conditions of the complete convergence for sums of B-valued independent but not necessarily identically distributed r.v.'s in Banach space of type p, and obtains characterization of Banach space of type p in terms of the complete convergence. A series of classical results on iid real valued r.v.'s are extended. As application authors give the analogous results for randomly indexed sums.

Abstract:In this paper,we discuss some limit properties of pairwise NQD sequences,extend Borel-Cantelli lemma,the three series theorem and the strong law of large numbers.Utilizing some corresponding theory of pairwise NQD sequences,the auther obtains some simple and explicit formulae on abscissa of convergence of random Dirichlet series whose coefficients or the norms of whose coefficients are pairwise NQD sequences,extends the corresponging results of pairwise independent sequences.

Abstract:In this paper, by establishing a Borel–Cantelli lemma for a capacity which is not necessarily continuous, and a link between a sequence of independent random variables under the sub-linear expectation and a sequence of independent random variables on ℝ∞ under a probability, we give the sufficient and necessary conditions of the strong law of large numbers for independent and identically distributed random variables under the sub-linear expectation, and the sufficient and necessary conditions for the convergence of an infinite series of independent random variables, without the assumption on the continuity of the capacities. A purely probabilistic proof of a weak law of large numbers is also given.

Abstract:Let {Xn;n ≥ 1} be a sequence of independent random variables on a probability space (Ω,F,P) and $${S_n} = \sum\nolimits_{k = 1}^n {{X_k}} $$. It is well-known that the almost sure convergence, the convergence in probability and the convergence in distribution of Sn are equivalent. In this paper, we prove similar results for the independent random variables under the sub-linear expectations, and give a group of sufficient and necessary conditions for these convergence. For proving the results, the Levy and Kolmogorov maximal inequalities for independent random variables under the sub-linear expectation are established. As an application of the maximal inequalities, the sufficient and necessary conditions for the central limit theorem of independent and identically distributed random variables are also obtained.

Abstract:Under some conditions on probability, this note discusses the equivalence between the complete convergence and the law of large number for B-valued independent random elements. The results of [10] become a simple corollary of the results here. At the same time, the author uses them to investigate the equivalence of strong and weak law of large numbers, and there exists an example to show that the conditions on probability are weaker.
