Valuable Equipment Checking in Multi-campus Colleges and Universities

Abstract:In multi-campus colleges and universities,there exist many problems and difficulties in valuable equipment checking,an important part of fixed assets management. This paper summed up the basic ideas and four countermeasures in the Department of Equipment and Laboratory in Sun Yat-Sen University including establishment and perfection of the related systems to standardize the checking process,unification of the checking standards of similar equipment and preparation of the checking scheme in advance to promote the checking process,optimization of the checking process to raise work efficiency,provision of follow-up management such the final payments and warranties by using the information platform. Moreover,it proposed to further extend the platform functionalities,such as uploading and downloading of the checking files, information queries and data statistical analysis to further informatize management.
