Abstract:The logistics control system based on PLC and fieldbus technology is designed according to the logistic device.The conveyor belt speed of logistic devices is controlled by the inverter.The close-loop accurate position control of the mechanic-hand is achieved by use of the high-speed counter.The shortcomings of open-loop control for stepping motor are overcome.The host control system based on visual basic is developed.The detailed information about the programming methods for the PLC and host computer are given.

Abstract:Foundation Fieldbus(FF)is a kind of applicable design for industrial control.It is also a technology of fieldbus supported by major international suppliers for automatic equipment.The function block is one of the most characteristic technologies in FF.It plays an important role in development and application of intelligent instruments.The instantiation for function blocks is the process of users′ fully reasonable utilization on hardware resource by adopting configuration software.It is fulfilled by writing parameters in action objects of applicable process of function block through 'Write' service of fieldbus message specification(FMS).The instantiation of function blocks has been successfully applied.

Abstract:With the development of society economy, the scale of control system is becoming larger, and the process control system is also becoming more and more complex. Process industries in general, but especially those handle explosive, flammable, or toxic substances, require the utmost safety in control system. Especially in complex system, it is a significant research that how to use existing system resource to optimize system and improve system safety.The process control field today is such that what were considered advanced control techniques even ten to twenty years ago are becoming commonplace. One of the strongest process control trends is the implementation of digital communication with field control devices. More and more traditional distributed control systems are being augmented with smart field instruments. Foundation Fieldbus is a digital control network that interlinks those "smart" field instruments like sensors and actuators in process control environment. In the Foundation Fieldbus all the control algorithms and the data acquiring are executed exclusively by structures called function blocks. Those smart instruments are equipped with Function Block.This paper will try to give the approaches to improve the performance based on the Function Blocks, beginning with introduction of Function Blocks of Foundation Fieldbus and their structure and execution process in section 2. In section 3, an example of fermentation process is given. How to structure the control system and how to implement distributed control highly based on function blocks are discussed here. The problem to realize system safety with Function Blocks and their programming language is presented in the section 4. Conclusion is given at last in this paper.

Abstract:In the field of industrial automation, fieldbus is changing the traditional DCS's important position and the architecture of distributed computer control system. However, it is not the time that fieldbus is popularized widely in China because of the factors of economy, technology and industrial automatic level. Therefore, this paper presents a mixed distributed computer control system that is composed of fieldbus and RS485 communication protocol. Through fieldbus and RS485, process parameters and status information of field devices are delivered to monitoring computer. In addition, the information integration between control system and management system is achieved using ODBC technology. This system has already been implemented on the product line in one large-scale tobacco group successfully. The performance results show that the system exerts the advantages of both Fieldbus and traditional data bus adequately, and has many advantages, such as openness, reliability and high ratio of capability-to-price.

Abstract:The fieldbus technology is applied to the auto-control system of the coal unload workshop. The setting-up of the model, the design and the realization of the fieldbus control system are discussed. High-low voltage control systerm structure is analysed. Hardware of fieldbus and communication cards is designed. And the key points of the realization of the system are designated. The prospect of the fieldbus in controlling is also discussed. This technology can be well applied in practicality.

Abstract:In order to realize centralized supervision and control for multi-crane in the same workshop building, an idea of multi-crane sharing control system was put forward. Based on Profibus-DP protocol,two sharing models of variable frequency control system were designed,which named total-sharing and partial-sharing control system. It discussed the handling for multi-motor′s parameter identification. Finally,it explained the topology structure design of control network and the development of the monitoring software. Application shows that multi-crane shared control system has simple structure,convenient operability and good expansibility. It can realize the hardware and software resources sharing as well as the crane′s various performance index is satisfied.

Abstract:Component technology has rapidly expanded and become the dominating development technology in industrial automation. But the adoption of component-based control system engineering (CBCSE) is significantly slower due to the lack of appropriate methodologies. To address this problem, the IEC61499 Function Block (FB) standard is exploited. Based on a specific view on component technology as well as CBCSE, the component model and framework in the context of IEC61499 are identified. By integrating new technologies in software engineering with IEC61499, an innovative engineering methodology for CBCSE is proposed. The FB construct is employed as the main building component for modern industrial control system. Illustration is presented of a typical experimental system using the proposed engineering methodology, which promises to improve reusability, modularity, scalability and maintainability in automation systems, while supporting control engineering in a cost- and time effective manner.
