Abstract:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is one of the most common causes of death in China.According to the recent research,the diagnostic accuracy of 18F-fluorodexoxyglucose(18F-FDG) positron emission tomography(PET) remains questionable for primary HCC but seems to be more promising for predicting prognosis and monitoring therapeutic effect.At the same time,combine both 18F-FDG and 11C-acetate(11C-ACT) PET would have an incremental value and complementary advantage when compared with single-tracer imaging in the detecting HCC and metastasis.
