On Analysis of Single Sports Association Reform From the Perspective of Path Dependence Theory

Abstract:With the long-term impact of the planned economic system,China's single sports association did not completely break the manacle of unified sports management mode.There is still a considerable gap between its own independence and reform goal of social participation entities,and the deep root of restricting its reform can be explained by the path dependence theory of institutional change.As a system arrangement,single sports association reform was restricted by government functions,social organizations,and market factors and so on,so the three respects must be proceeded to introduce a variety of social forces,with the help of the government and the market to promote the reform.
