Correlation Between CCL5 Expression and the Ability of Invasion in Four Human Breast Tumor Cell Lines

Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between CCL5 expression and the ability of invasion in 4 human breast tumor cell lines(MCF-7,SK-BR-3,T-47D and MDA-MB-231).Methods The CCL5 expression in 4 human breast tumor cell lines was assayed by RT-PCR and their ability of invasion was examined by cell invasion assay kit(ECM550).Results CCL5 was expressed in 4 human breast tumor cell lines and CT of CCL5 expression determined by RT-PCR was arranged from smaller to greater:MCF-7,MDA-MB-231,T47-D and SK-BR-3 cell lines.Accordingly,their ability of invasion was also arranged,but from stronger to weaker:MDA-MB-231,SK-BR-3,MCF-7 and T-47-D cell lines.Conclusion By comparing the CCL5 expression in 4 human breast tumor cell lines to their ability of invasion,although it is pity that significant correlation between them was currently not obtained,the primary experiment may be new way following which causality between CCL5 and breast cancer can be further explored.
