Abstract:Call a set V a saturated set on mapping f if V=f~(-1)(f(V)).In this paper,saturated sets topologies are introduced,some propositions on saturated sets topologies are proved,a new characterization of closed mappings is showed and a theorem on perfect images ofμ-spaces is obtained.

Abstract:We study the existence problems of fixed points and the topological structure of fixed point sets for nonexpansive set-valued maps in Banach space. We establish some porosity results on the existence of fixed points and the topological structure of fixed point sets for nonexpansive set-valued maps with values in an admissible family. The results obtained in the present paper cover and improve the corresponding ones due to De Blasi and Myjak (C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris Sér. I Math. 308:51–54, 1989) and De Blasi et al. (Set-Valued Anal. 17:97–112, 2009).

Lin in [6], we improve some results of Foged in [1], and prove the following propositions. Proposition 1. is discrete and closed if is a collection of HCP. Proposition 2. is an fininte subcolletion of is HCP if is a collection of HCP. Proposition 3. Let (X,) have a -HCP k-network. Then (X,) has a -HCP k-network F = such that such tat: (i) , (ii) is a discrete closed set and (iii) each is closed to finite intersections.

Abstract:For classes of topological vector spaces, we analyze under which conditions open-mapping, continuous-inverse, and closed-graph properties are equivalent. Here, closure under quotients with closed subspaces and closure under closed graphs are sufficient. We show that the class of barreled Ptak spaces is exactly the largest class of locally-convex topological vector spaces, which contains all Banach spaces, is closed under quotients with closed subspaces, is closed under closed graphs, is closed under continuous images, and for which an open-mapping theorem, a continuous-inverse theorem, and a closed-graph theorem holds. An analogous, weaker result also holds for the strictly larger class of barreled infra-Ptak spaces.

Abstract:An open (resp., closed) subset A of a topological space (X, T ) is called C-open (resp., C-closed) set if cl(A) \ A (resp., A \ int(A)) is a countable set. This paper aims to present the concept of C-open and C-closed sets. We first investigate their basic properties. Then, we found some operators such as interior, closure, limit, border, and frontier using C-open and C-closed sets. The relationships between them are clarified and discussed. Finally, we exhibit continuous maps and compact space defined using C-open and C-closed sets and scrutinize their main properties.

Abstract:We prove that: 1. If a Hausdorff M-space is a continuous closed image of a submetrizable space, then it is metrizable. 2. A dense-in-itself open-closed image of a submetrizable space is submetrizable if and only if it is functionally Hausdorff and has a countable pseudocharacter. 3. Let $Y$ be a dense-in-itself space with the following property: $\forall y\in Y\ \exists Q(y) \subseteq Y\ [y \text{ is a non-isolated q-point in } Q(y)]$. If $Y$ is an open-closed image of a submetrizable space, then $Y$ is submetrizable. 4. There exist a submetrizable space $X$, a regular hereditarily paracompact non submetrizable first-countable space $Y$, and an open-closed map $f\colon X \to Y$.

The collection of all $*-$open subsets of a space $X$ form a topology on $X$ which is denoted by $^{*}O(X)$. Abstract:The topological properties of coverings and their corresponding covering approximation operators have drawn special attention because these topological properties have important applications in rough sets. In this paper, we present some topological characterizations for three covering approximation operators. In the first part, we present certain topological characterizations for the covering lower approximation operator in an infinite universe, while the topological characterizations for the first and the second types of covering upper approximation operators are studied in a finite universe. In the second part, the relationships among three operators and the relationships among three topological spaces are established. In a word, topology theory provides useful tools to study covering-based rough sets.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose criteria for unboundedness of the images of set-valued mappings having closed graphs in Euclidean spaces. We focus on mappings whose domains are non-closed or whose values are connected. These criteria allow us to see structural properties of solutions in vector optimization, where solution sets can be considered as the images of solution mappings associated to specific scalarization methods. In particular, we prove that if the domain of a certain solution mapping is non-closed, then the weak Pareto solution set is unbounded. Furthermore, for a quasi-convex problem, we demonstrate two criteria to ensure that if the weak Pareto solution set is disconnected then each connected component is unbounded.

Abstract:We study the family of all fuzzy sets of the n-dimensional Euclidean space, which are upper-semicontinuous, fuzzy convex and normal with compact supports contained in a non-degenerate convex subset, and prove that the following statements are equivalent: (i) The family of fuzzy sets with the topology induced by the supremum metric is homeomorphic to a non-separable Hilbert space whose weight is the cardinality of the set of all real numbers; (ii) the non-degenerate convex subset is topologically complete, or equivalently, it is a countable intersection of open sets in the n-dimensional Euclidean space.

Abstract:We extend the Dikranjan-Uspenskij notions of c-compact and h-complete topological group to the morphism level, study the stability properties of the newly defined types of maps, such as closure under direct products, and compare them with their counterparts in topology. We assume Hausdorffness only when our proofs require us to do so, which leads to new results and the affirmation of some facts that were known in a Hausdorff context.

Abstract:Without leaving finite mathematics and using finite topological spaces only, we give a definition of homeomorphisms of finite abstract simplicial complexes or finite graphs. Besides exploring the definition in various contexts, we add some remarks like that the general Lefschetz formula works for any continuous map on any finite topological space. We also noted that any higher order Wu characteristic as well as their cohomology are topological invariants which are not homotopy invariants. Energy theorems allow to express these topological invariants in terms of interaction energies of local open sets.

Abstract:A.V. Arhangel'skii introduced the notion of an almost s-mapping. It is known that the open almost s-images of metric spaces coincide with the open boundary s-images of metric spaces. In this paper, we investigate some questions related to the sequence-covering almost s-images and sequence-covering boundary s-images of metric spaces. We establish some new characterizations of the images of metric spaces under sequence-covering and s-mappings at subsets in topological spaces. The following main results are obtained: (1) A space X has a cs*-network which is point-countable at non-isolated points if and only if X is a sequentially quotient and almost s-image of a metric space. (2) A space X has a cs-network which is point-countable at non-isolated points if and only if X is a sequence-covering and almost s-image of a metric space. (3) A space X has an sn-network which is point-countable at non-isolated points if and only if X is a 1-sequence-covering and almost s-image of a metric space. (4) A space X is a cs f -countable space if and only if X is a sequence-covering (resp., sequentially quotient) and boundary s-image of a metric space. Abstract:The theory of generalized metric spaces is an active topic in general topology. In this article, we utilize the concepts of ideal convergence and networks to discuss the metrization problem and the mutual classification problem between spaces and mappings in topological spaces. We define I - s n -metrizable spaces, obtain several characterizations of I - s n -metrizable spaces, and establish some mapping relations between I - s n -metrizable spaces and semi-metric spaces. These not only generalize some theorems in generalized metric theory, but also find further applications of ideal convergence in general topology.

Abstract:Every directed set is Tukey equivalent to (a) the family of all compact subsets, ordered by inclusion, of a (locally compact) space, to (b) a neighborhood filter, ordered by reverse inclusion, of a point (of a compact space, and of a topological group), and to (c) the universal uniformity, ordered by reverse inclusion, of a space. Two directed sets are Tukey equivalent if they are cofinally equivalent in the sense that they can both be order embedded cofinally in a third directed set. In contrast, any totally bounded uniformity is Tukey equivalent to $[\kappa]^{<\omega}$, the collection of all finite subsets of $\kappa$, where $\kappa$ is the cofinality of the uniformity. All other Tukey types are `rejected' by totally bounded uniformities. Equivalently, a compact space $X$ has weight (minimal size of a base) equal to $\kappa$ if and only if the neighborhood filter of the diagonal is Tukey equivalent to $[\kappa]^{<\omega}$. A number of questions from the literature are answered with the aid of the above results.
