Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Ba-pulling and Qian-traction manipulation with neck suspension and movement for acute cervical radiculopathy. Methods: A total of 85 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into an observation group and a control group by random numbers, with 43 cases in the observation group and 42 cases in the control group. The observation group was treated with Ba-pulling and Qian-traction manipulation with neck suspension and movement; while the control group was treated with Bashen-pulling and stretching manipulation in a supine position. The treatment was performed once a day, 10 times as a treatment course. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 1 treatment course, and the changes in the scores of visual analog scale (VAS) and neck disability index (NDI) were observed. Results: The total effective rate was 97.7% in the observation group, and 83.3% in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS and NDI scores of both groups were significantly decreased (both P<0.01), and the differences in the VAS and NDI scores between the two groups were statistically significant (both P<0.01). Conclusion: Both Ba-pulling and Qian-traction manipulation with neck suspension and movement and Bashen-pulling and stretching manipulation in a supine position can relieve pain and improve cervical function in patients with acute cervical radiculopathy, and Ba-pulling and Qian-traction manipulation with neck suspension and movement can produce more significant efficacy than Bashen-pulling and stretching manipulation in a supine position.

Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of spine-manipulating therapy for cervical spondylotic non-myelopathy.Methods: One hundred subjects were randomized by controlled single-blind clinical trial into treatment group(n=50) and control group(n=50),and treated respectively by spine-manipulating therapy and conventional massage,with a course of two months.Results: After treatment,the scores of Chinese medicine symptoms were significantly reduced(P<0.01) in both groups,and they reduced more significantly in treatment group than in control group(P<0.01).Conclusion: Spine-manipulating therapy has positive effects on cervical spondylotic non-myelopathy.

Abstract:Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is the most common developmental spine disorder among children. It is characterized by a lateral deviation of the spine that gives rise to the distinctive "S" or "C" shaped bending of the spine. The Lin School of Lingnan Region (LSLR), one of the prominent schools for bare-handed orthopaedic manipulation in southern China, provides preliminary evidences that the orthopaedic manipulation techniques help to correct deviations of the spine. Previous research found that Orthopaedic Manipulation Techniques of LSLR (OMT-LSLR) could reduce the Cobb's angles in patients with AIS. Therefore, the current study aims to investigate the effectiveness and safety of the OMT-LSLR in treating teenagers with AIS.

Abstract:Background: Lumbar disc herniation (LDH) has become a serious public health and socioeconomic problem. Tuina is a Chinese medicine treatment method based on meridian acupuncture theory and modern anatomy. Tuina can relieve pain and muscle tension and improve functional disorders; this massage is performed by pressing, kneading, pushing, pulling, and shaking the skin, muscles, and bones. However, the mechanism of action and the effect of Tuina as an external treatment on the activities of the central nervous system to relieve LDH pain is unclear. Therefore, we performed functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), which is widely used in pain-related research, as it can detect the effects of different types of pain on brain activity. Objective: Our randomized controlled parallel-group trial aims to compare the effects of Tuina with those of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) with traction in patients with LDH. Methods: This trial will be conducted between May 2024 and April 2025 in the Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Seventy-six participants with LDH will be enrolled for this trial and randomly assigned to 2 groups: Tuina intervention group and TENS with traction intervention group. Participants in both groups will receive treatment for 14 days. fMRI will be performed for the main pain measurements by assessing the effect of the intervention on brain activity before and after the end of the intervention. Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire, pressure pain thresholds, and the Oswestry disability index will be used to reflect the degree of pain and lumbar dysfunction, and the results will be used as secondary outcome measurements. Results: The study protocol has been approved by the ethics review committee of The Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This study was registered on May 1, 2024, with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry. Data collection began on May 2024 and is expected to end on April 2025. Currently, data from this trial are in the collection phase, and no data analysis has been performed. As of July 1, 2024, we have collected data from 21 patients. The results of this trial are expected to be submitted for publication in September 2025. Conclusions: This clinical trial will compare the effectiveness of Tuina with that of TENS with traction in the treatment of patients with LDH and will show the cerebral mechanism of Tuina in LDH treatment by using fMRI. The results of our trial will be helpful in clarifying the cerebral mechanism of Tuina in the treatment of LDH and provide a solid foundation for Tuina therapy research. Therapeutic massage/Tuina for treatment of functional dyspepsia: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

Abstract:Purpose A systematic review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was conducted to assess the potential effect of therapeutic massage/Tuina on functional dyspepsia (FD) patients. Method Twelve databases and three clinical trial registries were searched until December 2021, for RCTs that compared Tuina combined with or without conventional therapy versus conventional therapy in FD. We assessed the methodological quality of included trials by the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool, and graded the quality of the evidence. The data were presented as risk ratio (RR) or mean difference (MD) respectively with their 95% confidence interval (CI). Results In total, 14 RCTs with 1128 FD participants were included. Compared with conventional therapy, Tuina showed significant beneficial effects on improving overall symptom (RR = 1.12, 95% CI 1.06 to 1.19, low certainty evidence), and early satiation (MD −0.44 scores, 95% CI −0.72 to −0.16, very low certainty evidence). Compared with conventional therapy, Tuina plus conventional therapy also significantly improved overall symptom (RR = 1.14, 95% CI 1.06–1.23, low certainty evidence), quality of life (MD 10.44 scores, 95% CI 7.65–13.23, low certainty evidence), and epigastric pain (MD −0.76 scores, 95% CI −1.11 to −0.41, low certainty evidence). No adverse events related to Tuina and cost-effectiveness were reported. Conclusion Low certainty evidence showed that Tuina significantly improved overall symptom of FD participants compared with conventional therapy. Low certainty evidence showed that Tuina plus conventional therapy obviously improved overall symptom and quality of life of FD participants compared with conventional therapy.

Abstract:Background: Sciatica is one of the common pain symptoms in the human body, also known as radiating leg pain. Sciatica is increasingly occurring due to poor posture and lack of physical exercise all over the world. At present, many studies have indicated that Tuina can improve the clinical symptoms and functional status of sciatica. However, there is currently no relevant systematic review to evaluate and report this clinical scientific issue. Consequently, this study will conduct a meta-analysis on the effectiveness and safety of Tuina therapy for sciatica. Methods and analysis: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) related to Tuina treatment of sciatica will be retrieved from the Chinese and English databases and Clinical Trial Register. These databases include China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wan Fang Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Medline, etc. We will consider articles published in English or Chinese between database initiation and October 2021. Our team will use Review Manager Software 5.3 software provided by the Cochrane Collaborative Network to conduct this systematic review and meta-analysis. Results: This study provides a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of Tuina therapy for sciatica. Conclusion: The conclusion of our study will provide scientific evidence and reference to determine whether Tuina is an effective and safe intervention for patients with sciatica. Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical effect of radiofrequency acupuncture (RFA) treatment on cervical type cervical spondylosis (CTCS), and to investigate the needling response depth of the neck acupoint using RFA and the needling response in tissues. Methods: A total of 174 patients with CTCS were randomly divided into two groups: an RFA group (n = 84) and a traditional acupuncture (TA) group (n = 90). The needling depth and the needling response impedance value were simultaneously recorded after treatment for both groups. Following one treatment course (one treatment per day for 12 days), the effect of treatment, the needling depth, and the needling response tissue category were evaluated and statistically analyzed. Results: In both groups, symptoms were significantly better than before treatment. The cure rates for the RFA group and the TA group were 81.0% and 64.4%, respectively and this difference in treatment effect between the two groups was statistically significant.

Abstract:Background Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a highly prevalent joint disease among the middle-aged and elderly population that can lead to pain, functional impairment, decreased quality of life, and a large number of medical expenses. Physical therapy is one of the main treatment methods for KOA. In China, Tuina has been widely used in the treatment of KOA, but up to now, there is no high-quality medical evidence to support its effectiveness and safety. The purpose of this study was to objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tuina in the treatment of KOA. Methods A crossover design clinical trial was performed on 96 patients. The test group and the control group in the trial were allocated randomly in a ratio of 1:1. The test group received Tuina treatment for 4 weeks first and then received health education intervention for another 4 weeks. The control group received health education intervention for 4 weeks first and then received Tuina treatment for another 4 weeks. The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) total score was chosen as the primary outcome. The WOMAC pain score, WOMAC stiffness, WOMAC daily activity score, and visual analog scale (VAS) score were the secondary outcomes. Adverse events during the intervention were collected in both groups. Results Compared with the baseline, the WOMAC total score, WOMAC pain score, WOMAC stiffness, WOMAC daily activity, and VAS score of patients in both groups were improved significantly at weeks 4 and 8 ( p < 0.001). All patients who received Tuina treatment were significantly superior to those who received health education intervention in the WOMAC total score (194.96, 95% CI = 164.94–224.97, P < 0.001), WOMAC pain score (45.96, 95% CI = 35.82–56.09, P < 0.001), WOMAC stiffness (31.42, 95% CI = 26.37–36.46, P < 0.001), WOMAC daily activity (117.58, 95% CI = 97.56–137.61, P < 0.001), and VAS score (1.07, 95% CI = 0.83–1.32, P < 0.001). Both groups had no serious adverse events during the treatment. Conclusion This trial demonstrated that Tuina can reduce joint pain in patients with KOA and improve the physical functions of the knee joint effectively and safely. Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of two-step manipulation on nerve root type cervical spondylosis.Methods:80 cases of nerve root type cervical spondylosis were randomly divided into two groups,40 cases were treated with traditional Chinese medicine and steam therapy(observation group),and 40 cases with traditional Chinese medicine steam treatment group(control group),and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared and analyzed.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.5％,and the total effective rate of the control group was 77.5％℃.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The two-step manipulation combined with Chinese medicine steam treatment of nerve root type of cervical spondylosis is more accurate.

Abstract:Introduction Chronic low back pain (cLBP) is one of the largest and most frequent public health problems worldwide. Tuina is a physical therapy commonly used in China to treat musculoskeletal diseases. Compared with traction, there is little high-quality scientific evidence that can demonstrate the effectiveness of Tuina in the treatment of patients with cLBP. Therefore, the purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of massage on cLBP patients compared with traction. Methods and analyses This is a single-centre, assessor-blinded and analyst-blinded prospective randomised controlled trial with two parallel arms. Ninety-four patients with cLBP will be recruited. Three treatments were given every week for a total of 4 weeks. In the Traction group, participants were given traction therapy in the Tuina group, participants will receive a four-step physiotherapy including kneading, rolling, plucking and oblique pulling. The outcomes will be measured at baseline, at the end of treatment, as well as 1 and 2 months after treatment. The primary outcome will be the Hamilton Anxiety Scale after 12 sessions of treatment. The secondary outcomes will be the Visual Analogue Scale, the medical outcomes study Short Form 36, Serum Quantitative Index and genetic testing after 12 sessions of treatment. Ethics and dissemination The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Clinical Observation on Manipulation and Cervical Traction in the Treatment of Upper Cervical Spondylosis (65 Patients Were Observed)

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of manipulation and cervical traction in the treatment of upper cervical spondylosis.Methods From April 2008 to March 2009,65 patients with disease of upper cervical spondylosis were treated.As visiting order,randomly contrasted the manipulation and cervical traction group,manipulation group and control group before and after treatment about the neck pain,upper limb pain or num,headache or dizziness,sympathetic symptoms and cervical activities,assessed the therapeutic effect in three groups.Results The symptoms such as the neck pain,upper limb pain or num,headache or dizziness,sympathetic symptoms and cervical activities improved significantly in the first two groups,while the neck pain,headache or dizziness and cervical activities improved significantly in the control group,but upper limb pain or num and sympathetic symptoms didn′t improve in this group.Overall effective rate in the manipulation and cervical traction group,manipulation group and control group were 87.5%,78.2%,72.2%,respectively.Conclusion Mnipulation and cervical traction are effective in the treatment of disease of upper cervical spondylosis,especially can improve symptoms such as the neck pain,upper limb pain or num,headache or dizziness,sympathetic symptoms and cervical activities.
Efficacy and Safety of Shi Cervical Rotational Manipulation in Patients With Atlantoaxial Joint Subluxation: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Abstract:Background: The clinical diagnosis of atlantoaxial joint subluxation (AJS) in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is characterized by an unequal distance between the lateral mass of the atlas and the odontoid process on imaging, resulting in neck pain accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, headache, and limited cervical mobility. In Shanghai, Shi cervical rotational manipulation (SCRM) is a commonly employed TCM manual therapy for treating this condition. Nevertheless, there is a lack of evidence-based medical information regarding the clinical efficacy and safety of this technique. Objective: The principal aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SCRM in patients diagnosed with AJS. Methods: This study is a prospective randomized controlled clinical trial that will be conducted at a single center and that has a follow-up period of 24 weeks. A total of 96 patients diagnosed with AJS will be recruited from outpatient and inpatient clinics at Shanghai Baoshan Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. These patients will be randomly assigned to either the experimental group (SCRM) or the comparison group (basic cervical manipulation [BCM]). Treatment sessions consisting of SCRM or BCM will be administered twice a week for a duration of 4 weeks. Clinical monitoring indicators include the presence or absence of clinical symptoms as recorded on a symptom recording form, cervical imaging examination findings using cervical computed tomography, degree of neck pain measured by a visual analog scale (VAS), cervical range of motion assessed through cervical mobility measurement, degree of vertigo evaluated using the Vertigo Symptoms Scale-Chinese Version (VSS-C), and adverse events that may occur during the follow-up period. The time points for data collection and follow-up are baseline and postintervention (weeks 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24). Results: This paper presents an overview of the reasoning and structure of a prospective randomized controlled trial with the objective of investigating the clinical efficacy and safety of SCRM in patients with AJS by assessing improvements in clinical symptoms, neck pain severity, and vertigo severity and evaluating changes in cervical imaging findings. Recruitment was started in March 2023. By the end of May 2024, 76 patients were included in this project. The last follow-up data are predicted to be collected by the end of February 2025. Conclusions: This investigation will yield dependable evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of SCRM in patients with AJS. MSCT Evaluation of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy under Tuina Therapy

Abstract:Purpose:To analyze the clinical efficacy of tuina therapy for the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by multi - slice spiral CT imaging.Methods:Image data of thirty patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were collected.All patients were performed cervical multi - slice spiral CT study before and after the tuina therapy.All clinical symptoms,signs and VAS scores were recorded.The changes of cervical morphology in both MSCT studies were observed,including cervical curvature,atlantoaxial joint,the relationship of the spinous process and the midline of vertebral body position,intervertebral foramen and intervertebral disc.Results:After tuina treatment,all patients had a significant improvement in the clinical symptoms and signs.VAS score decreased by(8.20±0.92) points.The average values of cervical curvature before and after treatment were(1.91±4.99) mm and(5.08±3.61) mm,there was a significant difference between them(P = 0.000;t = - 4.27).There were 80 narrow intervertebral foramens before treatment,the number was 35 after tuina therapy.The number of odontoid skews before and after treatment were 15 and 2.The distances from the spinous to centerline before and after treatment were(2.11±1.68) mm and(0.87±1.70) mm(P = 0.000;t = 7.53).The number of intervertebral disk hernia and slipped disc were 63 and 42 before and after tuina therapy,respectively.Conclusions: Tuina therapy is effective for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by improving the cervical curvature, foraminal size and the relationship of facet joint position.Multi - slice CT imaging has an important referential value in the evaluation of clinical efficacy of tuina therapy in cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.

Abstract:Cervical spondylosis (CS)-related neck pain is difficult to treat because of its degenerative nature. The aim of this 9-center, single-blinded, randomized controlled trial was to evaluate the efficacy of optimized acupuncture for CS-related neck pain. Participants who met the inclusion criteria were randomized to optimized, shallow, and sham acupuncture groups (1:1:1). The primary outcome was the change from baseline in the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire score at week 4. Participants were followed up until week 16. Of the 896 randomized participants, 857 received ≥1 intervention session; 280, 286, and 291 received optimized, shallow, and sham acupuncture, respectively. A total of 835 (93.2%) participants completed the study. At week 4, significant differences (P < 0.001) were observed in the changes in Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire scores between the optimized acupuncture group and both the shallow {7.72 (95% confidence interval [CI], 5.57-9.86)} and sham acupuncture (10.38 [95% CI, 8.25-12.52]) groups. The difference in the scores at week 16 between the optimized acupuncture group and the shallow (8.84 [95% CI, 6.34-11.34]) and sham acupuncture (10.81 [95% CI, 8.32-13.30]) groups were significant. The center effect indicated wide variability in the treatment effects (Cohen's d = 0.01-2.19). Most SF-36 scores were higher in the optimized acupuncture group than those in the other groups. These results suggest that 4-week optimized acupuncture treatment alleviates CS-related neck pain and improves the quality of life, with the effects persisting for minimum 3 months. Value of Multi-Slice Spiral CT Imaging and Reformation in Evaluating the Clinical Efficacy of Tuina Therapy in Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of tuina therapy in the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by multi-slice spiral CT imaging and reformation. Methods: Image data of thirty patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were collected. All patients were performed twice cervical multi-slice spiral CT study before and after the tuina therapy,and all clinical symptoms, signs and VAS score were recorded. The changes of cervical morphology in both MSCT studies were observed,including cervical curvature,atlantoaxial joint,the relationship of the spinous process and the midline of vertebral body position,intervertebral foramen,intervertebral disc. These changes were comparatively analyzed with clinical symptoms and signs. Results: After tuina treatment,all patients had a significant improvement in the clinical symptoms and signs. VAS score was decreased by (8. 20 ± 0. 92) points. The average values of cervical curvature before and after treatment were (1. 91 ± 4. 99) mm and (5. 08 ± 3. 61) mm,there was significant difference between them (P = 0. 000;/= — 4. 27). There was 80/300 narrow intervertebral foramen before treatment.the number was 35/300 after tuina therapy. The numbers of odontoid skew before and after treatment were 15/30 and 2/30. The distances from the spinous to centerline before and after treatment were (2. 11 ± 1.68) mm and (0. 87 ± 1. 70) mm (P = 0. 000;t= 7. 53). The numbers of intervertebral disk hernia and slipped disc were 63/120 and 42/120 before and after tuina therapy. Conclusion: Tuina therapy is effective for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by improving the cervical curvature, foraminal size and the relationship of facet joint position. Multi-slice CT imaging and reformation have an important referential value in the evaluation of clinical efficacy of tuina therapy in cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.

Abstract:Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of comprehensive manipulations of spinal daoyin and balancing on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis(AIS).Methods:Sixty subjects were treated with this therapy.And the cobb angle,VC,FEV1/FVC and MVV were observed before and after treatment to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety.Results:12 cases were cured,45 cases improved and 3 cases failed,and the total effective rate was 95.00%.After treatment,the Cobb angle reduced,P0.01;VC,FEV1/FVC and MVV improved more obviously,P0.01 or P0.05;no side effects were found.Conclusion:This therapy is quite effective for AIS.

Abstract:To observe the therapeutic effect of 5-step manipulation and traction of cervical vertebrae on vertebroarterial type of cervical spondylosis and probe its mechanism.The 120 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group (manipulation group) and a control group (traction group) with 60 cases in each. The curative effects in the two groups were evaluated after treatment.The curative rate and the total effective rate is 26.7% and 93.4% respectively in the treatment group, and 13.3% and 86.7% respectively in the control group, with statistical significance in the total effective rate of the two groups (P < 0.05).Manipulation and traction of cervical vertebrae can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of vetebroarterical type of cervical spondylosis with a good therapeutic effect.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of three steps and nine methods by multicenter randomized control trial.Methods One hundred and eighty cases were randomized into treatment group and control group,ninety cases in treatment group were treated by three steps and nine methods;ninety cases in control group were treated by comprehensive therapy: traction and low-frequency wave,with 2 courses.The clinical efficacy,TCM symptoms,pain and signs were observed.Results The total effective rates were 91.11% and 72.22% in treatment group and control group respectively,the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups was significant(P0.01);the pain condition and TCM symptom scores were significant between before and after treatment(P0.05,P0.01);after treatment,the differences of all indexes between the two groups were significant(P0.05,P0.01).No significant difference of JOA score in treatment group was observed between before and after treatment(P0.05),and the difference of Greene between score in treatment group was significant between before and after treatment(P0.05);the differences of JOA score and Greene score in control group were significant before and after treatment(P0.05,P0.01);after treatment,the difference of Greene score was significant between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Treating cervical spondylosis by three steps and nine methods is safe,effective and feasible,and deserves to be applied in clinical practice.

Abstract:Background. With the accelerated pace of life in modern society, changes in work style, and the popularity of computers, the prevalence of cervical spondylosis (CSR) is increasing, and the age of onset is advancing. Once suffering from this disease, it is often difficult to cure and recurring, with complex clinical symptoms, causing a serious impact on human health. Objective. To evaluate the efficacy of manipulation and cervical traction in the treatment of radical cervical spondylosis. Methods. The PubMed, CNKI, and Wanfang databases were searched for literature. The literature related to this study was included according to selective criteria and inhibitory elimination criteria, and valuable information was selected for statistical analysis, resulting in a total of 11 randomized controlled trials with 994 subjects. Results. The short-term efficacy of manual treatment for CSR was superior to that of cervical traction alone ( P < 0.05 ); subgroup analysis showed that the short-term efficacy of pulling or rotational manipulation was superior to that of cervical traction ( P < 0.05 ). The mean difference between symptoms and manipulation VAS scores was higher before and after treatment when compared with cervical traction for CSR ( P < 0.05 ); the subgroup analysis showed that VAS scores, upper extremity anesthesia scores, and survivorship scores were lower for pulling or rotating manipulation than for cervical traction ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. The advantages of manual therapy in terms of short-term efficacy, VAS pain scores, neck pain, upper extremity anesthesia, and survivorship improvement provide a theoretical basis for its clinical impact.

Abstract:[Objective]To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of Jingtongping pills on the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).[Method]Eighty patients with CSR were assigned into two groups,40 patients were treated with Jingtongping pills(as therapeutic group)and the others were treated with Jingfukang(as control group).The clinical curative effect and adverse effect were evaluated at the end of 3 weeks.[Result]There was statistical difference between two groups when effective powers assessed with disease curative effect standard(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between two groups when effective powers assessed with syndromes(P>0.05).There was no adverse reactions founded in two groups.[Conclusion]Jingtongping pills has a certain therapeutic value for CSR.
