Abstract:The development of planar motor were overviewed.The classification of planar motor were also discussed in this paper.For different structral types of planar motors,the structure and the working princple and characteristics were discussed briefly.The shortcomings of the planar motor technology were pointed out.Finally,investigated the future direction and prospects of planar motor.
