Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of using the method of health education directed by current concerns for inpatients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and provide the reference for improvement of conventional health education. Methods Ninety-two inpatients with ACS were randomly divided into control group and experimental group: the method of conventional health education was used in control group, and the method of health education directed by current concerns used in experimental group. Questionnaires were used to evaluate the score of the knowledge about ACS mastered.Results The scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group after health education (all P<0.01).Conclusion The method of health education directed by current concerns can significantly exert inpatients' subjective initiative, and it is helpful for learning health information.
