Design calculation of finned-tube heat exchanger under low temperature conditions

Abstract:The gasification process of a cryogenic medium in a finned-tube exchanger which gasification pressure is higher than the critical pressure of the cryogenic medium is divided into two sections by adopting divisional model,i.e.liquid-phase and gas-phase.The heat transfer analysis about gasification process of the cryogenic liquid in a finned-tube heat exchanger is made under frosting condition.The correlative formulas suitable to heat transfer characteristics of each heat transfer section are summarized.It provides a reference for the design of finned-tube exchangers.
