Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effect of heat shock protein 60(HSP60) on reaction of the severity of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) at the time of admission, and to investigate the relationship with other risk factors of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods: 89 cases of hospitalized patients were collected from Department of Cardiology,Wuxi People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from November 2009 to May 2010,who were divided into ACS group, stable angina pectoris(SAP) group and non-CHD group. All patients underwent coronary angiography.Information obtained via questionnaire and all the clinical data of patients was collected.HSP60 levels in human serum was immediately measured using ELASA in all patients at the time of admission. Results: There was a significant difference in serum HSP60 levels in the three groups(F=7.870,P=0.001),further analysis showed HSP60 in human serum was(931.32±219.23)pg·ml-1 in ACS group, which was significantly higher than SAP group[(824.74±112.62)pg·ml-1] and non-CHD group[(743.20±146.33)pg·ml-1](P0.05).Correlations between HSP60 and other index indicating the severity of CHD showed there was a positive correlation between HSP60 and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),creatine kinase MB,aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase,Gensini points(P0.05),and a negative correlation with left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(P0.05).And we found that human HSP60 in serum was significantly increased in patients who were current smokers than that in patients who was never(P0.05).Conclusion: Human HSP 60 can be used as a biochemical index in reaction the severity of ACS.
