Abstract:Due to the complexity and variability of network management interface requirements and the diversity of network management interface technologies, complete testing on network management interfaces has been a challenge. In this paper, an automatic testing framework considering factors of test process, people, services and information is put forward in order to enhance test automatization and reduce test cost of time and manpower. This paper proposes the classification concept for test requirement information model and test record information model, and proposes a multi-layer test model content construction which can bring advantages of simplifying interface test complexity. In this framework, a series of kernel test services is designed as execute engines and can collaborate with each other to implement the whole test process more automatically.

Abstract:In this paper, a usage model is proposed to simulate users’ behaviors realistically in load testing of web applications, and another relevant workload model is proposed to help generate realistic load for load testing. It also demonstrates an eclipse-based load testing tool “Load Testing Automation Framework (LTAF)” which is based on these two models and can perform load testing of web applications easily and automatically. Furthermore, these models and tools were successfully applied into a representative web-based system from a big Corporation.

Abstract:Software automated testing is one of the critical research subjects in the field of computer application. In this paper, a novel design of architecture called automated testing system (ATS) is proposed. Based on techniques relating to J2EE including MVC design pattern, Struts framework, etc, ATS can support any black-box testing business theoretically with relevant APIs programmed using Tcl script language beforehand. Moreover, as the core of ATS is built in Java, it can work in different environments without being re-complied. The efficiency of the new system is validated by plenty of applications in communication industry and the results also show the effectiveness and flexibility of the approach.

Abstract:Software automated testing is becoming a hotspot in computer application research,a new design reflection called automated testing system(ATS) is proposed in this paper.ATS is based on J2EE,as an opened and flexible solving scheme of automatic testing,it can ensure the control of cross-platform and distributed testing system.Firstly,the relative theories of J2EE design and the powerful functions of ATS designed on this theory are briefly introduced,then the architecture of ATS is put forward in detail,finally the typical application of ATS is introduced and analyzed.

Abstract:Software testing is important activity in software development life cycle, automatic test can cut down cost of manual testing and to increase reliability of it. Many approaches have been proposed for automatic test techniques, but research on automatic test architecture and modeling is very little, software automatic test lacks explicitly formal description. This paper firstly proposed an architecture model of automatic test. Based on the architecture model, this paper proposed the process model and dynamic model of automatic test. The architecture model described the relationship of two kinds of elements in automatic test, the process model defined the detail flow of automatic test process, and the dynamic model refined automatic test process in iterative perspective.

Abstract:Autonomic computing is an exciting research direction in IT industry currently,which aims to provide self-configuration,self-optimization,self-healing and self-protection capabilities to computer systems,thus computer systems can manage themselves given high-level objectives from administrators.Based on the generic control theory and the concept model of autonomic computing provided by IBM,this paper proposes an autonomic fault management framework,which combines the reactive autonomic approach based on feedback control with the predictive autonomic approach based on feedforward control.Finally,the paper discusses the core techniques in the framework implementation according to the author's experience in the fault management system implementation.

Abstract:The development of Internet requires that application environment turns from closed and static to open and dynamic. People have increasingly attached importance to research on software testing management method. The current main problem in software testing management research is how to effectively manage the whole software testing process. Through research on V Model and W Model in software testing management, these models have themselves inherent limitations and are largely impractical. Reflective architectures [1] are used to allow a software system to define its behavior at runtime based on information that can be stored in metadata. This paper proposes RATMM- Reflective Architecture Based Software Testing Management Model. The model integrates reflection theory and software architecture design method, constructed software testing management model by using meta-information theory and meta-model method. RATMM is logically divided into meta-level and base-level. Meta-level and base-level are interrelated. Meta object captures condition and behavior of base-level, meta-level makes the corresponding metacomputing. Meta-level reflects the changes in meta-information to base-level after computing. Based on the description of its own condition and behavior, RATMM can adjust the testing process, obtain information about structure and behavior of testing process, and build software testing management model by reflective architecture. The model allows the user to modify condition of a software testing process without programming. RATMM exists in the entire testing life cycle, as well as verifies and confirms the whole process of the system.

Abstract:Network management interface testing is an important method to ensure the quality of building network management application. As a result, research on it has been a hot topic in network management field. As SNMP natively comes from computer network, few jobs have been done on how to test SNMP network management interface before. When SNMP is introduced into telecommunication network management field, more emphasises are required for testing of SNMP network management interface. Based on analysis of SNMP network management interface, this article shows properties of SNMP network management interface testing, basic testing method and key contents of the testing. According to the method proposed in this article, a testing system has been implemented and already been put into use in network management interface testing projects.

Abstract:Getting testers involved in both requirements analysis and testing can play an important role in three ways.To begin with,developers can improve the quantity of the software requirements,apart from that,testers facilitate the requirements of testing easily,and one more thing,testers can know the requirements timely and accurately after the software requirements are modified.We introduce the concept of testing requirements by making use of the idea of modeldriven,and then present an approach of testing requirements modeling.We can get test cases according to the test requirements model which corresponding to the test objectives.We conducted a case study on sip protocol use this approach.The preliminary results show that our approach is feasible and effective.

Abstract:In order to assure Web application’s quality,a high demand for systematic methodologies of Web application test is emerging.As a consequence,model-driven Web application test is proposed.Model is the core of this method.Web application model is built to describe the system under test.Test cases can be generated from the Web application model,and be executed by model-driven test tool automatically.Test results can also be reflected by models.By survey and comparison of the related works,the key technologies to implement model-driven Web application test are summarized.The challenge problems,the potential research directions and the future emphasis are also presented.

Abstract:This paper describes an automatic test system model and application, which is based on the object orientied technlogy. Through the disscusion of the limitation of the model based on function, the defination of model classes is analysed. There are 5 kinds of classes in this model, i.e, mesured object, instrument including signal source & acqisition, reference standard,human observer and operation enviroment. It focus on the test system generation procedure in application and provides a better model of the problem space. The model has the better consistency. The limitation and the application example of this model are also discused in this paper. Finally, the application of this model for a test system generation platform is given.

Abstract:A model-driven testing method for network management interface was proposed in order to minimize the impact of changeful test requirement and diverse interface technologies, improve the test efficiency as well as lower test cost. This method was founded on testing models including test case model and test scenario model, which can be transformed and constructed from platform-independent model (PIM) and platform-specific model (PSM) defined in network management interface specifications automatically or manually. This paper also gave composing of test model and transformation rules from PIM/PSM to test model. Furthermore, an automatic testing platform tool was implemented and applied to the interface testing of 3G mobile communication networks management.

Abstract:Writing specifications using Java Modeling Language has been ac- cepted for a long time as a practical approach to increasing the correctness and quality of Java programs. However, the current JML testing system (the JML and JUnit framework) can only generate skeletons of test fixture and test case class. Writing codes for generating test cases, especially those with a compli- cated data structure is still a labor-intensive job in the test for programs anno- tated with JML specifications. This paper presents JMLAutoTest, a novel framework for automated testing of Java programs annotated with JML specifications. Firstly, given a method, three test classes (a skeleton of test client class, a JUnit test class and a test case class) can be generated. Secondly, JMLAutoTest can generate all nonisomor- phic test cases that satisfy the requirements defined in the test client class. Thirdly, JMLAutoTest can avoid most meaningless cases by running the test in a double-phase way which saves much time of exploring meaningless cases in the test. This method can be adopted in the testing not only for Java programs, but also for programs written with other languages. Finally, JMLAutoTest exe- cutes the method and uses JML runtime assertion checker to decide whether its post-condition is violated. That is whether the method works correctly.
