Abstract:The Mobile Internet is an integrated product of the traditional internet and mobile communications, and represents one of the most rapidly growing IT fields for the current and a long period of time.However, data show that the global mobile internet is still in its infancy, there exist many problems to be solved and clarified.This paper first outlines the basic concept of the mobile internet, including its definition, features, and architecture.Then, based on the current architecture, we discussed in detail the research status, problems, and solutions of its various components, including mobile terminals, access network, applications and services, as well as security and privacy.Finally, future research and development trends of cloud computing were discussed.

Abstract:The Java virtual machine(JVM)is used more frequently as the basic engine behind dynamic web services.With the proliferation of network attacks on these network resources,much work are done to provide security for the network environment.Little effort has been placed on securing a Java web server where the attacker has a valid login to the host machine.After describing the vulnerabilities in Java's security mechanisms,an extended security system based on Java 2 security architecture is introduced.It also explains the runtime status of system.The increased assurance of correct system operation and the integrity of Java application server are provided.

Abstract:In recent years, M2M networking is an active research topic in both academic and industrial fields. Home M2M networks, as an important branch of M2M networks, have attracted wide concerns for home application. In this paper, we first present a brief overview of home M2M networks. Then we introduce a hierarchical architecture of home M2M networks and describe the approach of devices management and services discovery. After that, we focus on the security authentication with centralized node and an improved method of available bandwidth measurement. With the centralized node, our system is more efficient and secure, because of efficient resource management and users' anonymity protection. Compared to existing bandwidth measurement methods, our method takes up less additional bandwidth, saves more time, and has a higher accuracy for measurement. Experiments are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed scheme.

Abstract:Security plays an important role in the ability to deploy and retrieve trustworthy data for a wireless sensor network. Secure coverage is an effective defense against attacks which take advantage of a lack of deployment information. In this work, on the basis of improved genetic algorithm, a novel algorithm is proposed to guarantee the effect of secure surveillance. Comparison and simulation results show that the proposed solution outperforms the virtual force algorithm in terms of coverage rate and secure connectivity.

This system has access to the internet by GPRS, implement the wireless communication with the home gateway and realize the data transmission between the sensor network and telecommunication network as well as the protocol conversion between different types of sensor network. Abstract:This paper analyzes the current mainstream solutions of smart homes, discusses the necessity and feasibility of introducing both industrial control standards and industrial control technology into the field of home intelligence, determines the design goals, and proposes a new wireless smart home solution. (The new solution is as follows: The hardware is made up of android smart phones, PLC, WiFi communication module, etc. And the master server class library based on Modbus TCP is developed. And therefore, wireless online and real-time control of household appliances through Modbus TCP communication and SMS messaging is realized.) The paper then discusses the innovative points, advantages and application fields of the solution. Finally, it is concluded that the new scheme has high security and reliability, and is scientific, innovative, and practical. It has certain reference significance for the development of smart home technology.

Abstract:Machine‐to‐machine (M2M) techniques have significant application potential in the emerging internet of things, which may cover many fields from intelligence to ubiquitous environment. However, because of the data exposure when transmitted via cable, wireless mobile devices, and other technologies, its security vulnerability has become a great concern during its further extending development. This problem may even get worse if the user privacy and property are considered. Therefore, the authentication process of communicating entities has attracted wide investigation. Meanwhile, the data confidentiality also becomes an important issue in M2M, especially when the data are transmitted in a public and thereby insecure channel. In this paper, we propose a promising M2M application model that connects a mobile user with the home network using the existing popular Time Division‐Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD‐SCDMA) network. Subsequently, a password‐based authentication and key establishment protocol is designed to identify the communicating parties and hence establish a secure channel for data transmissions. The final analysis shows the reliability of our proposed protocol. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. Abstract:In recent years, the ZigBee network has been rapid develop in smart home. In order to solve the interconnection problem between the ZigBee network and the internet in the smart home, a wireless home gateway based on embedded is designed and implemented in this paper. The gateway is made up of the main controller S3C2440, the ZigBee module JN5148 and the Wi-Fi module VT6656. It is capable of converting Wi-Fi protocol data or ZigBee protocol data, and transmitting them to each other. The paper describes the design and implementation process of the gateway hardware and software, introduces the Wi-Fi protocol data and the ZigBee protocol data conversion method, and solve the bottleneck caused by the two protocol different transmission rates. Then the performance of the gateway is tested, and the results indicate that the performance is stable, and the Wi-Fi–ZigBee gateway is completely meeting the needs of the smart home.

Abstract:Nowadays, wireless net work in digital home is popular in academic and industrial areas. Digital home provides lots of convenience for our daily life. This paper introduces an applicable method of designing a wireless home gateway based on Software-Defined Radio to realize a house hold appliances control system. The home gateway by GNU Radio and Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) is adopted to build the system, which can receive multi-standard control signals and coordinate home appliances by Zigbee networking. Meanwhile, the system is practical and flexible through the extensible interface.

Abstract:Aiming at the security problems of data monitoring, and forgery and tampering in the process of wireless communication network, this paper proposes a lightweight data encryption algorithm based on dynamic key, in which an authentication scheme combining with the characteristics of communication system is constructed. Firstly, the communication network structure is constructed based on encryption algorithm by using C/S security agent model. Furthermore, the data symmetric encryption and decryption are completed by using exclusive OR algorithm. In addition, adopting hash algorithm which can complete data integrity authentication, and reduce resource consumption in keys and message. The libmodbus open source libraries are employed to simulate the master/slave device communication, and simulation results show that the improved scheme ensures the synchronisation and accurate key updating, realises the self-organisation and management of the key. At the same time, the proposed algorithm has great advantages in resource consumption, compared with other algorithms.

Abstract:In order to reduce the cost and establish the wireless network for smart home system, and realize the integration of router and smart home control gateway, this paper proposes a low-cost design of routing gateway for smart home. With Openwrt open source routing system and Luci WEB framework, using WiFi and Zigbee as the main communication network, we design the frame structure of communication data and developed control interface for smart home, to meet the users' needs of surfing the Internet and the control of the equipment and check the room information of the family. The experimental results show that users can control home wireless devices and view room information through webpage, and realize the integration of various wireless communication modes and the establishment of wireless network for smart home system. The design of this paper has a certain practical significance for the existing smart home industry.

Abstract:Seamless roaming over wireless network is highly desirable to mobile users, and security such as authentication of mobile users is challenging. Recently, due to tamper-resistance and convenience in managing a password file, some smart card based secure authentication schemes have been proposed. This paper shows some security weaknesses in those schemes. As the main contribution of this paper, a secure and light-weight authentication scheme with user anonymity is presented. It is simple to implement for mobile user since it only performs a symmetric encryption/decryption operation. Having this feature, it is more suitable for the low-power and resource-limited mobile devices. In addition, it requires four message exchanges between mobile user, foreign agent and home agent. Thus, this protocol enjoys both computation and communication efficiency as compared to the well-known authentication schemes. As a special case, we consider the authentication protocol when a user is located in his/her home network. Also, the session key will be used only once between the mobile user and the visited network. Besides, security analysis demonstrates that our scheme enjoys important security attributes such as preventing the various kinds of attacks, single registration, user anonymity, no password/verifier table, and high efficiency in password authentication, etc. Moreover, one of the new features in our proposal is: it is secure in the case that the information stored in the smart card is disclosed but the user password of the smart card owner is unknown to the attacker. To the best of our knowledge, until now no user authentication scheme for wireless communications has been proposed to prevent from smart card breach. Finally, performance analysis shows that compared with known smart card based authentication protocols, our proposed scheme is more simple, secure and efficient.

Abstract:To allow many users to hold a secure teleconference in mobile networks, a secure conference scheme with dynamic participation is necessary. However, designing a secure and efficient conference scheme is a difficult task because wireless networks are susceptible to attacks and wireless devices have limited resources. Recently, a lightweight and secure conference scheme has been suggested. Later, it has been found that this solution has security weaknesses and a modified version to overcome them has been presented. Compared with other conference schemes, these two schemes have many advantages. In this short paper, security study of these conference schemes in mobile networks has been performed with the following findings: (1) both the original scheme and the modified version are still vulnerable to our proposed impersonation attack; (2) they lack a mechanism to confirm the delivery of relevant messages, leading to protocol disruption. Therefore, these two schemes cannot be deployed for the real world applications without further development. Then, some efficient countermeasures are given for enhancing the security of both schemes. Further, the security properties of the improved protocol are formally validated by a model checking tool called AVISPA. Finally, several basic principles are suggested for the design of a secure conference scheme. Copyright (C) 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Abstract:Secret information through the gateway may be leaked becase of inceasing security threats of gateway in heterogeneous environment.To solve the security problems,a new wireless sensor network gateway structure is proposed.Different application modules are placed into different virtual machines with different security features,only program in the same virtual machine can access others becase of the feature of isolation.Therefore distrusted application modules or distrusted users can not access the secret information in the other virtual machine,thus increasing the security effectively.

Abstract:With wide adoption of Service Computing and Mobile Computing, people tend to invoke services with mobile devices, requiring accurate and real-time feedback from services at any time and any place. Among these services, some are private to limited users and require identity authorization before use; hence secure access control in wireless network should be provided. To address the challenge, in this study, we propose the architecture and protocols of a system of access to private services for mobile clients, which combines the technologies of trusted computing, Diffie-Hellman key agreement protocol, digital certificate, DES data encryption algorithm and twice verification. We further show the implementation of the proposed system, in which we have realized the authentication and authorization of mobile clients and then secure data transfer between mobile clients in the unsafe Internet and private services in the Intranet. © 2013 Maxwell Scientific Organization.
