Abstract:The front casting distance is the key to the throw pile calculation which is the core of directional blasting design.In order to calculate the front casting distance exactly and objectively,a series of field simulation tests have been conducted by blasting parameters and layout of charge,thus dominant factors of the throw pile law have been discovered that are useful to deepening and improving the method of front casting distance calculation,which could serve as a better guide to the directional blasting of damp construction.
