Abstract:Brain derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) plays many significant roles in developing and mature central nervous system(CNS),most of which are mediated by the tyrosine kinase receptor type 2(TrkB) receptors.Thus the axoplasmic transport of TrkB is particularly important.In this review,we introduced the latest findings in the molecular mechanisms of axoplasmic transport of TrkB in terms of motor proteins,potential regulators and correlative cell skeletal proteins which are proved to be involved in this process,and presented a series of questions and outlook on this topic.
