Abstract:CBNRM(Community-based Natural Resource Management) has being becoming an international approach to analyze and implement natural resource management. This paper provides a synthesis of conceptual framework,background of development,analysis framework,strength of implementation,experiences,and challenges of implementation of CBNRM.This synthesis paper particularly highlights the problems and issues on aspects of resource tenure and access,capacity of collective action,space and opportunity of livelihoods,and partnership building between different stakeholders.This paper synthesis main challenges encountered in practice of CBNRM described in some documents,including,including decentralization for government,financial assistant to community,property arrangement for resources,capability building for community,and promoting participatory,and so on.
