Comparison of International Educational Competition Power

Abstract:This paper uses the method of factor analysis to explore four general indexes that can reflect the level of international competition power.They are educational input,educational scale,educational efficiency and educational output.According to these general indexes and the method of clustering analysis,we get the order of each country in competition power and the ranking partition of the level of international competition power.The results indicate: Firstly,the development of education in different countries of the world is non-balanced.Secondly,the development of education in different continents of the world takes on a picture of ladder distribution,in which the Europe is the highest,then is the North America,the Asia and the South America,the Africa is the lowest.Thirdly,the level of competition power is high relevant to the level of economical development. Fourthly,the level of competition power of China is low and needed to be improved greatly.In the end,the authors make some policy suggestions for improving the level of competition power of China.
