Effects of Isopsoralen Plus Zinc on Proliferation and Differentiation of Cultured Osteoblasts in Vitro

Abstract:To study the effects of isopsoralen plus zinc on proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro,MTT and PNPP were used separately to observe the proliferation and the activity of ALP of osteoblasts cultured in vitro with isopsoralen plus zinc of different concentration in it for different incubation periods.The effect of promoting proliferation of rat osteoblast cells in vitro after 24 and 48 h was more marked by the groups of isopsoralen plus zinc compared with the simple application of isopsoralen or zinc sulfate.The activity of alkaline phosphate (ALP) was stimulated by isopsoralen and zine after 48 and 72 h incubation.It was demonstrated that combination of isopsoralen and zinc could synergistically enhance the proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro.
