Abstract:As the contemporary advanced culture,socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is the new culture,which according with China's national conditions,reflecting the socialist spirit of the times,revealing an essential requirement of socialism and the trend of development.It includes scientificalness of seeking truth from facts,clear-cut temporal spirit,strong nationality,wide popularity,all-embracing openness,reform-minded innovativeness and other features.Strengthening the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics represents the orientation of advanced culture in the new period and is the inevitable requirement of initiating a new situation in building socialism with Chinese characteristics;also,it enhances China's comprehensive national strength and our international competitiveness.Furthermore,it is the inevitable choice in the process of achieving China's international strategic thinking of peaceful rise and the inevitable end to promote all-round development of people and achieve self-liberation.
