Abstract:In the development of embedded realtime application,the software will always collapse or reset for some unknown reasons due to the lack of experiences and skills of the programmer.There are many reasons of this such as stack overflow,memory leakage,dead loop task,invalid pointer etc.If it happens,there are many unknown errors which are always different and very difficult to debug for developer.This article will tell readers some ways to debug and detect faults for embedded realtime software development base on VxWorks.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduce some issues that are encountered in building a service debugger and briefly describe our approach to addressing them. Next, we outline some debugging modes and components of a simple composite debugger. Then, we mainly describe its message-based front-end and back-end, which are a co-existing, self-identifying, and non-intrusive. Finally, we preset some experimental results of our latest prototype.

Abstract:Based on UG NX5.0 or higher version,with Visual Studio2010 as development platform and C++/C# and UG/OPEN API as tools,modular design method was used to extract general design procedure in design of automobile checking fixture,and then design wizard was introduced to help designers to rapidly master advanced methods.The lack of special module in general 3D CAD software for design of checking fixture was thus remedied.

Abstract:Through the requirement analysis for the Ground Control Station(GCS) of Small-scale Unmanned Helicopter(SUH),not only the structure and function of GCS are introduced for SUH,but also the solution to the key technologies is analyzed.The GCS is based on VC++ development environment and embedded Matlab technique.The GCS for SUH is applied in a small-scale unmanned helicopter,and the flight experimental results show that it has perfect real-time property,good stability,friendly man-machine interface,strong expandable ability,etc.

Abstract:The necessity of developing enterprise-modeling system based on Internet/Intranet is emphasized in this paper. Aiming at the goal of this system , on the base of analyzing the characteristics of two typical developing tools, Java and C++, a plan of selecting developing tools is described. Then, A plan for solving the difficulty problem in system developing, the interface between Java and C++, is explained by the author through an example. Finally, the shortcoming in this solving plan is discussed.

Abstract:Design of large software systems requires rigorous application of software engineering methods covering all phases of the software process. Debugging during the early design phases is extremely important, because late bug-fixes are expensive. In this paper, we describe an approach which facilitates debugging of UML requirements and designs. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a set of notations for object-orient design of a software system. We have developed an algorithm which translates requirement specifications in the form of annotated sequence diagrams into structured statecharts. This algorithm detects conflicts between sequence diagrams and inconsistencies in the domain knowledge. After synthesizing statecharts from sequence diagrams, these statecharts usually are subject to manual modification and refinement. By using the ``backward'' direction of our synthesis algorithm, we are able to map modifications made to the statechart back into the requirements (sequence diagrams) and check for conflicts there. Fed back to the user conflicts detected by our algorithm are the basis for deductive-based debugging of requirements and domain theory in very early development stages. Our approach allows to generate explanations on why there is a conflict and which parts of the specifications are affected.

Abstract:Program analysis tools often produce undesirable output due to various approximations. We present an approach and a system EUGENE that allows user feedback to guide such approximations towards producing the desired output. We formulate the problem of user-guided program analysis in terms of solving a combination of hard rules and soft rules: hard rules capture soundness while soft rules capture degrees of approximations and preferences of users. Our technique solves the rules using an off-the-shelf solver in a manner that is sound (satisfies all hard rules), optimal (maximally satisfies soft rules), and scales to real-world analyses and programs. We evaluate EUGENE on two different analyses with labeled output on a suite of seven Java programs of size 131–198 KLOC. We also report upon a user study involving nine users who employ EUGENE to guide an information-flow analysis on three Java micro-benchmarks. In our experiments, EUGENE significantly reduces misclassified reports upon providing limited amounts of feedback.

The Design and Development of A Semi-Auto Computer Generated Testing Paper System - A Case Study in the School of Continuing Education at China University of Geosciences

Abstract:With the rapidly increasing entrance examinations for the School of Continuing education of CUGB, there is an urgent need of the examination papers that have the parallel testing ability for the same academic program. Based on the analysis of parallel factors and the comparison of the manual generated mode and the computer generated mode, the most time-consuming and experience-consuming steps are found. By providing supports to those steps automatically, a semi-auto computer generated testing paper system was designed and developed for reducing the workload of the experienced faculties to generate testing papers. The papers were generated based on a gradually constructed item-bank. The system offered multiple templates of the testing paper structure plan for assisting semi-auto paper generated procedure and guaranteeing the parallel of the generated papers. In order to construct an item-bank in a short time, an easy-to-use authoring tool with powerful functions was designed and developed. The system supported the spring entrance examination of SCECUGB in 2010 successfully. Faculties gave positive feedback toward the system.

Abstract:A state-of-the-art parallel programming environment called UPPER (User-interactive Parallel Programming EnviRonment) is presented in this paper. Parallel machines which execute programs concurrently on hundreds or thousands of processors provide far more computational power than does a uniprocessor. However, designing parallel programs on parallel machines manually is very di cult and error-prone. Due to these problems, many tools which help programmers translate sequential programs into parallelized programs or even help them design parallel programs have been developed. The proposed environment also has the same purpose. The major components of this environment include a parallelizing compiler system and simulators of the given target machines. The parallelizing compiler system introduces new and existing techniques for compiler-time analysis, and the simulator can simulate execution of the translated parallelized program on the target machine and show the simulated performance reports. This integrated environment attempts to provide convenience for users or programmers who can easily design or write their desirable parallel programs based on a variety of assertions and information generated by this environment. Using our environment, programmers can avoid the necessity of designing parallel programs and can obtain e cient parallelized programs from sequential programs easily.
Research on Integration Methods of CAD / CAE / CAM Software Based on Redevelopment of UG Technology

Abstract:CAD / CAE / CAM technology has become the core technology to develop the new generation of production technology,and it developes in the direction for integration. In order to realize integrated application of CAD / CAE / CAM software system,methods of the integration of CAD / CAE / CAM software were realized based on using technology of redevelopment of UG on software platform,including adding startup menu of CAE software into the interface of UG software,and configuring the interface NXV between UG and VERICUT together with its application. Physical integration and information integration of software were realized. Namely,CAE software was launched in UG interface,and data was achieved to transfer between software of UG and VERICUT. In integrated software system,different software were combined together organically. Control program is executed uniformly and fluent information transfer is guaranteed,which improve work efficiency of the technician and production benefit of the enterprise.

Abstract:Understanding existing pieces of software is a challenge faced by many software developers regardless of their experience. This project researches into existing reverse engineering tools used for code comprehension and identifies the limitations of the current approaches. Furthermore, a prototype implementation was developed to extract design models from available source code in order to achieve better program comprehension. The design and implementation of the model extraction tool were defined, with a focus on Java systems and an agile methodology. This tool was realised by extending the existing open source diagrammatic software, UMLet, with a set of features to aid in code comprehension. Finally, the prototype implementation was evaluated against the related tools in the field as well as by a group of professional experts.

Abstract:Nowadays UML has been the de facto standard of software modeling languages, and it also brings a new challenge to software testing-How to do software testing based on UML design models. To generate test cases directly from UML activity diagrams, a formal definition of UML activity diagrams and a grey-box test method are proposed. The method first extracts each possible executing path named a test scenario from an UML activity diagram, then it gets input?output variables and relative constraints from the activity states and transitions in each test scenario to generate test cases. A test case generation tool based on this method named UMLTGF is also implemented, it can extract the information of UML activity diagrams from Rational Rose specification files and automatically generate test cases. The tool improves the process of test case generation and reduces the cost of test model creation.
