Study on Conditions of Extractive Microbial Transformation to Produce L-phenylacetylcarbinol in Micelle Aqueous Solution

Abstract:This paper researched the conditions of extractive microbial transformation to produce L-PAC in nonionic surfactant micelle aqueous solution, including pH, Triton X-100, substrate benzaldehyde, wet cell dose, glucose, nitrogen source and transformation time. The optimized transformation medium was as follows: substrate concentration 0.9%, Triton X-100 7.8%, glucose 3%, wet cell dose 12%, pH5.2 and transformation time 6 h without any nitrogen source. Under the above optimum condition, a high product L-PAC concentration of 45 mmol/L, about 7 g/L was achieved.
