Abstract:The present study reviews recent research into urban community sports in China. Whilst affirming the validity of the research the study indicates that there are some pitfalls that need to be avoided in such research, for example: the basic conceptual framework is superficial; the research design is inappropriate; and the research instruments employed are inadequate in terms of innovation and depth. The study suggests that Chinese culture, society and sport practices should be taken account of when overseas frames of reference are employed.

Abstract:Through systematic analysis and research on the reporting methods of various sports events and the status quo of data news under the background of big data, it is found that sports news reports under the background of big data have presented new reporting forms and contents. Combining the application of open source data with sports news can make good use of relevant technical forces to improve the reading efficiency of sports news. This can consolidate old audiences, attract new audiences, and maximize the promotion of various sports events, allowing more audiences to participate. After distributing 336 questionnaires, 303 were recovered. A total of 303 answer sheets met the requirements. The successful recovery rate of the questionnaire was 90.18%. Among them, 172 were male, accounting for 56.77% of the valid questionnaires; 131 were female, accounting for 43.23% of the valid questionnaires. Full-time students accounted for a relatively high proportion of the survey respondents, with a total of 130 people, accounting for 42.90% of the valid questionnaires. It can be seen that most of the people who pay attention to sports news reports are young and middle-aged groups.

Abstract:National tradition sport in an important part of Chinese traditional culture, while the traditional sport has to face up the olss and it is on the dangerous verge of extinction because of the attack of globalization of sports, which is represented by the Olympic movements. School sports are important ways of disseminating sports and culture. Introducing traditional sports to school physical education can1 on the one hand, promote the development of school sports and enrich teaching resources of school physical education. It will help improve students＇physical and mental health and improve their overall quality as well as help young students have awareness for lifelong sports training. On the other hand, school sports will conducive to the development of traditional sports, in favor of mining, sorting and protection, national traditions and conducive to promotion, popularization and transmission of the traditional sports.

Abstract:This paper studies the development of economic ties between professional sports and media in the past ten years by the example of the Olympic Games media coverage. The main purpose of the research is to identify the regularities that are formed in the communicative environment of elite sports. The paper is focused on the Olympic Games as the global sports events that include several types of sports competitions. The subject of the study is the sport as a product. The object of the study is the sport entertainment products in the media sphere. The relevance of the research is that the interconnections between sports and media expand and change rapidly and are influenced not only by the development of new technologies but also by a coronavirus situation. The systematization of literary sources on the selected matter indicated the need for further studies to reflect the rampant evolution of sports media and the lack of unified terminology for viewing professional sports through the prism of mass media as a media product. The methodology of the research is based on the analysis of open-source statistical data and a set of empirical materials (official websites of sports organizations, TV channels, and social media pages). The author viewed these materials from four perspectives: the audience, the marketing approach, the sports themselves as a source of information, the mainstream and the new media. The results allowed identifying the main trends of the information space formation around the object under study. These trends prove that the structure of the «Elite Sports» media product is becoming more complex, and the number of communicative links and broadcasting opportunities of sports events has increased. Finally, the author proposed a conceptual model of representing professional sports as a media product on the example of the major sports events, through defining its communication links. The findings of the research could be useful for setting vectors for studying mainstream and new media in the chosen area. The study can be of interest to sports journalists, bloggers, managers, and officials. Keywords audience, communication, content distribution, professional sports, sports event.

Abstract:In order to make a thorough research of the folk sports heritage in Xuzhou area,and to bring into play the function of folk sports in promoting the social development of this area,this paper makes an analysis of the characteristics,classification,existing forms and present status quo of the folk sports resouces in Xuzhou area,and provides some strategies.Though rich in folk sports resouces,Xuzhou area was slow in its pace of developing folk sports due to problems with exploitation,protection,and cultural awareness.The paper proposes to lead a industrializing road to enhance exploitation,arrangement,encrouragement of good variation,and digging up of cultural meanings.

Abstract:Sports mobile applications refer to sports-related apps and column for sports in other apps, such as Health Mall, FanBar and more. Since 2014, the academic community have published papers related to sports mobile applications, which are research hotspots and difficulties. This paper has mede some collections, sorts and analyses to over 200 literatures with regard to sports mobile application from 2014 to 2018, trying to draw a conclusion about the status quo, problems and thinking from research on sports mobile application status at internal and abroad. This thesis will, based on the previous studies, further explore the future research directions and highlights of sports mobile application, and give suggestions for future research.

Abstract:In recent years, China has made many efforts to develop sports-related industries and the concept of national fitness. Currently, China has many new media users, and sports new media platform has become an important platform to popularize national fitness in China. So, accelerating construction and improving the quality of new media platform sports has become important for developing China’s sports industry. In such a process, the communication modes of different new media platforms influence sports news content and communication effects. It is necessary to study the communication modes of the current popular new media platform sports in order to understand the communication modes and effects of sports news. This article takes “Tencent Sports” and “Hupu” as examples. It analyzes the characteristics of the two famous platforms by using the theory of “uses and gratifications approach” and the theory of “interactive ritual chain”, aiming to summarize the advantages of the two platforms and put forward suggestions for the better construction of sports new media platforms in the future. So, the comparative analysis between “Tencent Sports” and “Hupu” has certain practical significance in promoting the popularization of sports culture and the development of the sports industry in China.

Abstract:The article searches and analyzes the literature, including monographs and textbooks, on the study of the history of sports in China over the past 30 years. The research results show that the research of sports history has experienced intermittent. The three stages of silent period, tortuous rise period and transitional decline period are closely related to the development of China's sports industry and historical theories and methods. The authors hope that future research in the history of sports will focus on theoretical and methodological innovations in the history of sports, the search and analysis of new materials on the history of sports, filling in gaps and in-depth study of the existing history of sports.

Abstract:In this article, the authors conducted an in-depth study on the formation of a system of comprehensive education of Chinese citizens. In particular, the aspect of the influence of sports as a significant system of social development is considered. The authors consider a number of theoretical and practical issues regarding problematic topics. The prerequisites for the integration of sports into the list of academic disciplines, as well as a retrospective of the introduction of sports into educational programs, are revealed. In the course of the research, the importance of martial arts as a key direction in the sports education of young people and the relationship of this sport with the formation of a personality are analyzed in detail. In conclusion, the article presents the current state of sports education in educational institutions in China.

Abstract:Through literature,logical reasoning and other methods,this paper elaborates the intension and the significance of coordinating sports culture development in urban and rural areas,and analyses the status and the reasons of the imbalanced development of sports culture in urban and rural areas.The results show:urban-rural dual structure model,the development gap between urban and rural economy,the development gap between urban and rural social undertakings and the development gap between urban and rural cultural and education are the main factors which impact the coordinated development of sports culture in urban and rural areas.It also puts forward some countermeasures which are expected to provide theoretical support and policy reference.
