Current Status in Molecular Targeted Therapy Against Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Abstract:Patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma were poor prognosis.Surgical treatment had a high recurrence rate,radiotherapy and chemotherapy were difficult to benefit patients.In recent years,it had confirmed that a number of molecular targeted therapy had the exact effect on the tumors,and the molecular targeted therapy against HCC had also achieved good results in clinical trials,and the target was accurate,adverse reactions was small.HCC molecular targeted drugs were divided into monoclonal antibody and small molecule inhibitors.In this review,it introduced the major treatment molecular targets and mechanism of HCC as well as epidermal growth factor receptor,hepatocyte growth factor and its receptor,vascular endothelial growth factor,intracellular signaling pathway blocking agent,explored the prospects of the molecular targeted therapy.
