Abstract:Performance evaluation of satellite-network is becoming an important issue in the development of satellite networks,and characteristics of satellite-network topology will have great effect on the system performance.Several common evaluation methods were analyzed,and the extraction of topologic characteristics of satellite networks was studied,the effect of which on the satellite networks was discussed as well.By taking a single-level satellite network as an example,the performance evaluation based on topologic characteristics index system in action was performed.It can promote the research in the area of performance evaluation of satellite network.
