Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyse the content of glucagon like peptide 2(GLP-2)between type 2 diabetes patients and normal population.To explore the relationship between GLP-2 and type 2 diabetes mellitus.METHODS ELISA kit was used to detect GLP-2 in the samples from type 2 diabetes patients and normal population.RESULTS The content of GLP-2 in type 2 diabetes patients was significantly lower than that in normal population(P﹤0.001),and there was a tendency of GLP-2 content in different sex,ages,duration and blood glucose levels groups of type 2 diabetes patients.CONCLUSION The content of GLP-2 of normal population is significantly higher than that of type 2 diabetes patients.
