Problems and warnings in regard to interventional treatment for benign airway stenosis in China

Abstract:Benign airway stenosis is usually caused by several diseases leading to occupancy,scar contracture and the collapse of tracheal wall.Severe stenosis of airway may even lead to death.In China,tracheobronchial and bronchial tuberculosis account for 70% of all the reasons resulting in benign airway stenosis.Though interventional treatment on lung which has been developed dramatically is bringing a new way to airway stenosis therapy,in the meantime,it introduces some problems and disputes among experts.The present article put forward severe problems appearing in this new technique treatment,and then gave analysis and solutions to these problems.
