Abstract:Working stress is a procedural framework which concerns various complex and constructional stress issues. On the basis of identifying the key factors of business manager's working stress, these factors can be classified into two different dimensions which are called intrinsic stress and extrinsic stress.Through correlation analysis,we found these two types of stress show good stress or bad stress respectively concerning work performance indicators.Subsequently, the test of mediation effects based on regression analysis indicates that managers' self-efficacy mediates the relationship between manager's work stress and performance. It can help us to explain not only why these two types of stress have different performance attributes but also how this effect happens. The conclusions deducted from this paper can provide some practical strategies for working stress management.
