Analysis on research paper's citation of Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology for 8 years

Abstract:Objective Analyze the citation information contained in the paper published in Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics Gynecology,to evaluate the ability to accept information of this journal,the information sources and the literature demand.Method Citation analysis was used to analysis the references of academic papers published in Chinese Journal of Clinical Obstetrics Gynecology from 2000 to 2007.Results The amount of citation papers was 1 107 in all 1 172 papers published in 8 years in this journal.The citation rate was 94.45%.The average number of citation was 8.94 per paper.The main language of citation was foreign language(69.69%)and the main citation type was periodicals(73.32%).Citation price index was 50.69%.The citation quantity of the periodicals that the citation frequency ranked from the head to the tenth accounted for 29.41%.Conclusion The published paper is of a higher citation rate and better citation timeliness.The capacity utilization from the literature is higher.
