Abstract:Through sorting out and researching the relative theory of semeiology in the ancient books of traditional techniques,the guiding principles of semeiology in the products are summed up such as synchronic and diachronic principles as well as principles of segmentation and substitution.After analyzingpatternandsubstancefrom ancient people,the inner and outer meanings of products can be seen,namely,proper decoration,which is the basic principle ofpatternandsubstance.
