The Reconstruction of Communicative Rationality:The Logic Thread of Hagermas' Philosophy on the Emancipation of Mankind

Abstract:Considering the morphological change and social crisis resulting from it in modern capitalist society,Habermas,from the perspective of economy,politics,culture and humanity,comprehensively analyzed and reflected on the "multiple malaises" of modern society and constructs the fundamental contents of his social critical theory,laying a logical starting foundation of his own theoretical system.Latter,through inverting the relationship between instrumental rationality and communicative rationality,he combined the criticism in "instrumental rationality" by reconstructing "communicative rationality",refining the logic thread of his theoretical system.Finally,he proposed the "global citizen society" targeting at the plight of the times as the logical destination of his theoretical system,which explored the other path to the emancipation of mankind,enriching the Marxian philosophy on human liberation.
