Projection of Population Composition in City Master Plan and its Enlightenment to Planning: A Case Study of Zibo

Abstract:Based on the fourth and fifth population census in Zibo, this paper makes projection of population composition of the city in 2020 by an age-transfering way. The result includes changes of age structure, and numbers of population of the children, the school age, the labor age and the retired. At last, we try to discuss the application of these results in urban planning and their enlightenments to theme plans of education, medical treatment and employment in the future.
