Study on Cuttage and Propagation for Lonicera Japonica

Abstract:A cuttage experiment was carried out in order to study the technology of cuttage and propagation of Japanese honeysuckle(Lonicera japonica) by chose different cutting woods and soaked them with hormone.4 mm thickness leafless cutting woods takn from 2-year-old honeysuckle plants survived most readily.IBA was the best hormone for Japanese honeysuckle(L.japonica) cuttage.Soaking of the cutting woods with IBA 100 mg/L 30 min gave the highest survival rate,most biomass and shortest cicatrizing date.Treatments with NAA 75 mg/L 40 min gave the same results.
