Abstract:Ultrafiltration is an advanced membrane separation technology,as a kind of separation and concentration tool,having been widely used in the dairy industry.This paper made a summary of the ultrafiltration technology and reviewed the present situation of research and application of ultrafiltration in producting milk protein concentration and whey protein concentration.At the same time,how to improve the filtration performance by selecting the conditions in the process of ultrafiltration is expounded and the trend of the future development in this filed is also discussed.
