Abstract:This paper reviews the establishment and evolution of the Huo state during early Han dynasty and suggests that Chapter Zhilv of Zhangjiashan Bamboo Strip Manuscripts is a mixed texts based on the old version of the seventh year of Emperor Huidi that were edited in the first year of Empress Gaohou,,The place names that have been explained as Hou State actually had been repealed in that year,since State of Hou was not demolished as records in the chapter.The transcription time of the chapter is around May of the first year of Empress Gaohou,thus it records the administrative system of that time.This chapter is only a transcription that the transcriber wrote according to his own requirement,and therefore it may obviously different from the text issued by the central court of the dynasty.
